Referring to his visit to Kosovo, Gul said that the timing of his visit was crucial as the UN Security Council would take up the Kosovo report of UN Secretary General Kofi Annan on Oct. 24th. Gul said that there were more people from Kosovo living in Turkey than the people living in Kosovo, adding ''all the Balkans are our relatives.'' ''I hope all this geography will be within the EU and NATO in the future and the clashes would be buried in history,'' he added.

Die Türkischen Politiker sind halt kluge Leute, welche sehr klar sagen, das alle Balkan Völker ihre Freunde sind, und nach einer EU und NATO Aufnahme, die Zusammenstösse der Volks Gruppen der Vergangenheit angehören.

Albaner wurden nach dem 1. Weltkrieg von den Serben
geradewegs nach Türkei deportiert. Wo Christen ihren Glauben aufgeben mussten und alle anderen ihre alb. Identität verloren. Ich kannte mal einen Albaner aus der Türkei... Sein Nachnahme lautete "Ozgür"
und sprach dennoch fließend alb. allerdings erzählte er das Albaner meist
in den dreckigsten Gegenden der Türkei untergebracht wurden...
Wie z.B. im Osten de Landes (den Anatolien)
 
Kennt eigentlich jemand genaue Angaben zu albanisch,-slawisch,-etc. abstammenden Türken?
In Istanbul gibt es sogar einen Stadtteil namens "Neu-Bosnien" etc.?
 
Nichts verwunderliches. In der "noch" zukunftslosen Situation Kosovos, wollen die wenigsten freiwillig leben. Also bevorzugen sie ein überwiegend muslimisch bewohntes Land, Türkei in dem Fall, welches aber gleichzeitig demokratisch und laizistisch ist. Dort fühlen sie sich wohl wohler als in Kosovo.

Genau und weil es in der Türkei ja so toll ist, wird Deutschland, Österreich. von türkischen Gastarbeitern fast überschwemmt...
