tribalfooball.com - July 04, 2006

Roma are in advanced talks with Lecce for striker Mirko Vucinic.

Vucinic has been a long-term target for Roma coach Luciano Spalletti and executive director Rosella Sensi is now discussing a series of options to bring the young Serb to the capital.

For an outright sale, Lecce are demanding £8 million, while in co-ownership Roma would have to pay £6 million. Relegated Lecce also want a straight £1 million for a season-long loan.

Sensi is considering making an offer of £6 million plus Aleandro Rosi to sign Vucinic permanently.

Isto kao on misle i kumovi Danko Lazović i Andrija Delibašić.

Jovanovic newest signing for Standard Liege
Serbian midfielder signed a 3-years contract

05.07.2006 by Arno van Opstal

Standard Liege can add another midfielder to their squad; Milan Jovanovic signed a contract for three years. The Serbian both footed midfielder impresses the coaching staff of his new team during the past one and a half week when he was on trial. Jovanovic scored four times during as many friendly games which were scheduled as warm-up for the new league season. Jovanovic, who did have a one year contract at Lokomotiv Moscow, was allowed to leave the capital city of Russia without a transfer sum.

Mladenovic leaves Crvena zvezda
Serbian midfielder signs for Incheon United

20.07.2006 by JadranSport

After just one season of playing for Crvena zvezda since his return from Scotland, Dragan Mladenovic has left Marakana again. The 30-year-old has successfuly ended the talks with Incheon United, and signed a 2-year-contract with the South Korean top flight outfit.

Leaving Marakana for the second time
Although he briefly stayed at Marakana, this will be the second time that Mladenovic leaves Crvena zvezda since his arrival in 2002 from FK Zemun. The former Serbian-Montenegrin international first left the "Crveno-Beli" in 2004, and joined FC Glasgow Rangers for a sum of 1,500,000 EUR. However, he failed to make a breakthrough in Scotland, and returned to Belgrade at the beginning of 2005/06 season. In the past year he made 17 appearances for the Belgrade giant, plus scored 3 goals, helping Crvena zvezda win the double crown under Walter Zenga. Previously, in the period between 2002 and 2004 he made 51 appearances for them, and scored 9 goals, apart from what he also got capped 17 times by the national team.

At Incheon to step in Agic'splace
By the first impression, Mladenovic will step in Jasmin Agic's position when he arrives to Incheon. The Croatian striker has left the club this summer, and gone back home where he signed for Dinamo Zagreb. Considering both Agic and Mladenovic play in the midfield, the Serb made a good move by signing for the Koreans. Apart from that, Mladenovic will also have some company from his native Serbia, as former Partizan striker Dzenan Radoncic is already in Incheon for the past three years

Goran Drulic moves on to OFI Kreta
Serbian striker seeks fortune in Greece

19.07.2006 by Arno van Opstal

As was already revealed unofficially some weeks ago, the contract of Goran Drulic at Sporting Lokeren would not be extended. The management of the Belgian club decided not to take up the option of a three-year extension. Now, the Serbian forward has found a new club in Greece. OFI Kreta have signed the one-time capped international on a free transfer. The Greek club finished at a disappointing 14th spot in the A Ethniki division last season and they are aiming for a much better performance this season.

Remarkable career
Goran Drulic was once a promising and talented striker when he joined the ranks of Serbian giant Crvena Zvezda. After playing several successful seasons in Belgrade, the now 29-year old Drulic made the step to the Spanish Primera Division in 2001. Drulic stayed for four years at Real Zaragoza, however he was plagued by injuries during that time. Finally an argument with his coach made him decide to move on. His countryman and former Crvena Zvezda coach Slavoljub Muslin convinced him to sign a one-year contract at Belgian Jupiler League side Lokeren. Drulic played 13 games in Belgium in which he scored 4 goals, which evidently was not enough for Lokeren to keep him.
