ON THE WIDESPREAD REPRESSION AND HARASSMENT PERPETRATED BY
THE SERBIAN POLICE AND OTHER AUTHORITIES IN KOSOVA
FROM 28 DECEMBER UNTIL 31 DECEMBER

On 30 December, large police forces intervened during the peaceful protests for the
unconditional release of school and university facilities in Prishtina, Peja, Gjakova,
Mitrovica and Gjilan. Many students were subjected to physical ill-treatment and suffered
injuries.

PRISHTINA: On 30 December, at about 11 a.m., large police forces brutally intervened
against the peaceful protesters in the "Mother Theresa" city promenade and other parts of
the city. Many citizens were ill-treated and suffered body injuries. Since the early hours of
the morning, all streets leading to the centre of the city were blocked. On the roofs of the
National Theatre, Assembly of Kosova, "Rilindja" Publishing House and the National Bank
of Kosova, snipers were situated. Police stopped buses preventing passengers from
travelling to Prishtina.
During the police intervention, the following were physically ill-treated: Selatin Novosella
(1945), member of the LDK Board; Aziz Biçkaj (1967), a student, "Kodra e Diellit" quarter
9-1, suffered injuries on his head, back and leg; Ramiz Arifi (1957), an economist from
Matiçan, suffered injuries on his head and back; Driton Bytyçi (1977), a student from
Magura near Lipjan, suffered severe body injuries; Fatmir Gjakova (Hoxha) (1955), a
sculptor and professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tetova, "Mosha Pijade" st.13, suffered
injuries on his head, back and shoulder; Mustafë Nuredini (1940), a teacher at "Ganimete
Tërbeshi" Primary School in the village of Llukar, "Jabllanica" st.391, suffered injuries on
his head, shoulders and legs; Adem Shahini (1948), an employee at the Faculty of
Economics, "Drenica III" st.30, suffered injuries on his head and other parts of the body;
Nazmi Çollaku (1974), a student, suffered injuries on his head; Shyhrete Jashari (1976), a
student from Nëntë Jugoviqi, suffered injuries on her back and neck; Leonora Pllana
(1978), a student from Nëntë Jugoviqi, suffered body injuries; Ahmet Shala M.S., (1961), a
lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, "Ulpiana" quarter D5 I/1, suffered body injuries;
Vahide Behrami (1972), a student from Gllogoc, suffered injuries on her left leg, chest and
back; Avni N. Breznica (1977), a student from Lipjan; Fatmire Abiti (1978), a student from
Pestova near Vushtrri; Enver Berisha, a student; Qamile Fetah Bajraktari (1976), a student
from Kishnareka near Gllogoc, suffered injuries on her left arm and on her back; Emrush
Suma (1974), a student from Dimca near Kaçanik; Hajdin Përçuku, a student; Vlora
Zeqiraj (1976) and Besa Zeqiraj (1978), students from Studenica near Istog; prof. dr.
Ahmet Geca, vice-rector of the University of Prishtina; Bujar Dugolli, chairman of the
Students' Independent Union (SIU); Driton Lajçi, vice-chairman; Albin Kurti and Ernest
Luma, members of the Presidency of SIU; Lulëzim Hoti, a student from Mitrovica, "Rifat
Vidishiqi" st.8, from Hogosht near Kamenica, suffered injuries on his head; Emira Kryeziu
(1981), a pupil, "Dragodan" quarter II; Driton Pllana, a student; Arsim Kryeziu (1977), a
student from Rogaçica near Kamenica, suffered injuries on his eyes and back; Drita
Kryeziu, a student from Bubavec near Malisheva; Fatime Shala (1971), a student from
Dubovik near Deçan, suffered injuries on her back; dr. Zekeria Cana, a historian; dr.
Fehmi Rexhepi, a historian; dr. Isa Bicaj, a historian; Zejnullah Halili (1971), a student; Ilmi
Rexhepi (60) from Gjilan; Ardian Rexhepi (21), a student from Gjilan; Mufail Gashi (36), a
worker; Sevdail Makolli (1978), a student from Sofalia near Prishtina, was ill-treated until
he fainted; Xhavit Nebiu (1964) from Likoshan near Gllogoc, suffered body injuries; Hafir
Gashi from Llapushnik near Gllogoc, a driver at the "Ferronikel" Enterprise; Gani Krasniqi
(1960), an engineer from the village of Negroc near Gllogoc; Hakif Ajet Xhylani (1958), a
teacher from Baica near Gllogoc; Shefki M. Ajvazi (1938), a teacher from Sfeqla near
Podujeva, suffered injuries on his head; doc.dr. Mujë Shala (1950), a physician and
professor at Medical Faculty, suffered injuries on his head; Ramadan Selimi and his two
children Arsim and Flora, students, "Qamil Turbedari" st.2; Kujtim Maqedonci (1953), a
retired technician, "Trimat Kosovarë" st.8a, suffered injuries on his head; Bajram Kastrati
(1936), a pensioner, "APJ" st.105/4, suffered injuries on his head and arm; Nexhip Stublla
(1953), an employee at the Institute for Protection of Environment, "4 Korriku" st.43 in
Podujeva, suffered body injuries; Mursel Mulliqi (1948), an unemployed from Podujeva,
suffered severe injuries on his head, face, back and was hit on his genital organs; prof.dr.
Jahi Hoxha (1943), a professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, "Bregu i Diellit" quarter
7/24, suffered injuries on his head; Hysen Pasjaqa (1930), a pensioner, "Milladin Popoviq"
st.227, suffered injuries on his back and right leg; Ramadan M. Salihu (1941), an
employee at the Kosnjuries on his head and shoulders; Feride Selman Salihu (1969), a
student from Dumnica e Poshtme near Podujeva, fainted; Bajram Ajeti (1935), a
hairdresser, "Vëllazërim Bashkim" st.133, suffered injuries on his left arm; Haxhere Pllana
(1974), a student from Lajthishta near Obiliq; Selatin Buçinca (1954), an unemployed auto-
mechanic, "Llapi" st.55, suffered severe injuries on his head, neck and arms; Arben
Mehmeti (1971), a student from Llofca; Habib Hamdiu (1958) from Zhegra near Gjilan,
suffered injuries on his head and other parts of his body; Hysni Lushtaku (1977), a student
from Prekaz near Skënderaj, suffered body injuries; Sylejman Ahmet Zabelaj (1975);
Ibrahim Hajdari (1962), a jurist from Shtytica near Gllogoc; Mustafë Canolli (1975), a
student, "Drenica III" st.26; Mustafë Mustafa (1971), a student from Babushi i
Muhaxherëve near Lipjan, suffered injuries on his stomach and fainted; Albert Adem Beqiri
(21), a student from Mitrovica, "Qendra" quarter; Sadete Halil Rama, a student from
Vushtrri; Bekim Bafti Nazifi (1970), a student from Smira near Vitia, suffered injuries on his
face and other parts of his body; Ahmet Jashanica (1941), unemployed, "Dardania"
quarter SU 4/4 F6 8-35, suffered injuries on his back and leg; Fitnete Baftiu (1978), a
student, "Dardania" quarter SU 9/1 4-35, fainted due to severe physical ill-treatment;
Myrvete Mulaku (1977), a student from Komoran near Gllogoc, suffered injuries on her
head, back and shoulders; Fehmi Maloku (1961), a teacher from Përlepnica near Gjilan;
Agim Luzha (1978), a student from Ferizaj, suffered injuries on his head and leg and
fainted; Vjollca Neziri (1975), a student from Kaçanik; Muhamet Buzhala (35), a teacher
from Gllogoc, was ill-treated until he fainted, he suffered severe injuries on his head and
backbone; Valbonë Hajdini and Basrije Bajgora - students from Podujeva, suffered body
injuries; Lindita Shahini, a student from Istog, suffered body injuries; Gjylë Krasniqi from
Carralluka near Malisheva; Shefqet Buçaj, a teacher from Lladrovc near Maërguti, a
student; Avdullah Desku, a student, suffered body injuries; Vjollca Fazliu, a student;
Muharrem Avdiu, a worker; Valdete Daka, a jurist; Adem Rexhaj and Idriz Shala,
pensioners; Nuredin Islami, a student; Mihane Salihu, a student; Shyhrete Kastrati, a
student; Lirie Mavraj, a student, Rrustem Hyseni, a student; Ramadan Makolli, a worker;
Ramadan Buzhala, a student; Bashkim Shylemaja, a student; Lesh Skeli, a student; Driton
Shala, a student; Ardian Kastrati, a student; Blerim Shatri, a student; Avni Bytyçi; Besa
Tovërlani, a student and journalist of "Bota e re" magazine; Arsim Aliu, Thëllënza Arifi, a
student; Shekip Fazliu, a student; Vjollca Hoti, a student; prof.dr. Ragip Halili, professor at
the Law Faculty; Violeta Tahiri, a student.

PEJA: Five minutes after the beginning of the peaceful protests, during the students'
march through the city promenade, large police forces intervened ill-treating many citizens
and causing them body injuries. Life Metaj, Lendita Duraku, Sadete Ibrahimaj, Ariana
Mulliqi, Asllan Gjuraj and Valbona Nikqi, students, were physically ill-treated, as well as the
following citizens: Din Zymer Kastrati (1962) from Dobërda; Xhavit Berisha (1964) from
Krushec; Elvir Muriqi (1976) from Bërzhenik and Ekrem M. Qerreti (1980) a pupil from
Krushec; Zymer Alaj from Drenoc was beaten and threatened with expulsion to Albania
under the pretext that he spoke no Serbian; Arsim Dautaj from Carrabregu i Epërm and
Artan I. Avdimetaj from Strellci i Epërm. Luan Elshani from Ozrim and Haxhi Berisha from
Lutogllava; Besnik Berisha, a journalist of "Koha Ditore" daily and Muharrem Shala, a
worker, were arrested and taken to the Security Centre where they were subjected to
physical ill-treatment. They were released after 40 minutes.

GJAKOVA: Since the early hours of the morning, large police forces blocked all streets
leading to the city centre. At 11.15, on the attempt of the students of the "Bajram Curri"
High Pedagogical School to gather in the city promenade, police intervened, physically ill-
treating many students. The following were physically ill-treated and suffered body injuries:
Adonis Xhavit Hasi (1980), Adriatik Shkelzen Rexha (1982) and Shefqet Shehu from
Gjakova; Mentor Smajl Islamaj (1980) from Skivjan; Arta Gjikokaj, a student from Deçan,
suffered injuries on both legs and on her shoulders; Blerim Dautaj from Carrabregu i
Epërm near Deçan; Muhamet Tolaj from Prejlepi near Deçan; Edison Selmanaj from
Rastavica near Deçan; Agron S. Selmanaj from Baballoq; Ilir Krasniqi, Ymer Sh. Islami,
Mimoza Godeni (1979), Yllka Bedra (1978) and Gazmend Islami (1978) from Gjakova;
Vezire Fetahu, Belkize Asllani, Leonora Nimani and Antigona Nimani from Gërgoc; Valmir
Ukaj (1976) from Lumbardh near Deçan; Bashkim Kamberi from Lëbusha; Blerim Gjoci
(1976), Albert Kuçi (1978) and Qerim Gjoci (1978) - from Junik near Deçan; Valdet Bacaj
from Klina; Driton Demaj from Osekhyla; Diamant Vladaj from Strellci near Deçan; Dëfrim
Rifaj from Prizren; Jahë Thaqi from Demjan; Driton Gashi (1978) from Klina near Gjakova;
Hysni Kelmendi (1978) from Rakovina; Muharrem Morina (1978) from Deja near Rahovec
as well as Rasim I. Zeneli (1973) and Agim Homza from Jabllanica. Sami Ahmeti (1978)
from Krelani and Blerim Hoxha from Cërmjani, both students, were subjected to physical
ill-treatment during the protests and at the police station where they were kept for 2 hours.

MITROVICA: In the village of Shupkoc, in the vicinity of the gas station, 6 policemen
stopped the bus of the "Galica" travel agency and checked the identities of all passengers,
among whom were the students of the Mining Faculty: Kimete Bajram Berisha (30) from
Kçiq i Madh; Zejnepe Sherif Sinani (20), Suzana Hetem Sinani (19) and Luljeta Behxhet
Ahmeti (19), all 3 from Vushtrria. Compulsive authorities did not allow the opening of the
market under the pretext that the Albanians cause problems.
There was no police intervention during the protests, but in the vicinity of the bus station,
police ill-treated many Albanian citizens, among whom were Qerim Idriz Berisha (43) from
Kçiq i Madh, teacher at the "1 Maji" Primary School in the village of Shupkoc and Sami
Lam Ibrahimi (35), "Tavnik" quarter.

GJILAN: During the peaceful protests, police ill-treated Musa Krivaça (55), a worker, "Savo
Kovaçeviq" st., who tried to join the protesters.

PRIZREN: During the peaceful protests, police checked the identities of: Asllan Bekteshi
and Teki Rexhepi, journalists of the "Bujku" daily; Agron Shporta, a journalist of "Koha
Ditore" daily; Avdyl Dakaj and Zenel Koqinaj.


FERIZAJ: After the peaceful protests, police checked the identities of many Albanian
citizens and seized their Ids. Nexhat Misini from Tërni and Afrim Krosa were taken for
interrogation to the police station, provoked and psychologically ill-treated. A police squad
intervened in the "Gashi" photo shop. Isa Gashi, its owner, and Mexhit Zaskoku, a worker
of his, were arrested. Isa's camera was seized under the pretext that he taken photos of
the protesters.

28 DECEMBER:

SKëNDERAJ: At the police check-points in Vitomirica and Staradran, police stopped the
members of "Drenica" basketball club, checked their identities and insulted them on a
national basis, accusing them as being terrorists. Policemen took Zymer Bajraktari, the
driver, to the building and interrogated him on the Kosova Liberation Army, etc.
VITIA: In "Bashkim Vëllazërim" st. in Ferizaj, police stopped the wedding guests of Basri
Qerimi from Pozharan near Vitia. Policemen interrogated the driver of the car which the
flag was in.

29 DECEMBER:

GJILAN: Faik Shkodra (1946), a professor at "Skënderbeu" High Pedagogical School,
"Ramiz Sadiku" st.10/4, was taken for "informative talks" regarding the students' peaceful
protests for the unconditional release of the university facilities.
OBILIQ: In the early hours of the morning, police searched for Sabri Zejnullah Mjekiqi from
the village of Grabovc i Epërm, who is currently living in Germany.

30 DECEMBER:

DEÇAN: In the vicinity of "Lidhja e Prizrenit" Primary School in Deçan, police stopped,
checked and arrested Shefqet K. Hadërgjonaj (1948) and Sali B. Pangjaj (1953) from
Voksh. After an hour, they were released. Police confiscated some magazines and
interrogated them on the family of Sali Hadërgjonaj.
OBILIQ: Police stopped all buses in order to prevent passengers from going to Prishtina
and participating in the peaceful protests.

31 DECEMBER:

MITROVICA: At midnight, in the village of Shipol, police stopped Rifat Destan Dakolli (19)
from Rezalla near Skënderaj. Without any pretext, he was punched and kicked and
interrogated on the students' protests.
In the green market, two policemen forced the following citizens to carry their goods to the
car: Sejdi Kutllovci, Xhemail Kqiqi, Destan Dakolli and Shemsi Kolla.
SKëNDERAJ: Random shooting was heard at the ammunition factory. Such cases cause
panic among the population.

DELAYED INFORMATION:

GJAKOVA: On 24 December, about 50 policemen brutally intervened in the city
promenade dispersing students and other citizens that were protesting against the
usurpation of school and university facilities. The following students suffered severe body
injuries: Shkëlzen Shehu from Gjakova; Miradije (1977) and Lendita Tolaj (1978) from
Prilep near Deçan; Gazmend Ukë Bytyçi from Peja; Sevdije Bytyçi (1978) from Poçeza
near Peja and Sami Ramiz Kasabaj (1979) from Kërnina near Klina. Gurakuq Dobrona
had an arm broken, Përparim Godeni, Visar Dana and Valon Ismail Mullahasani (1979),
suffered severe body injuries. 14 protesters were taken to the police station and released
later on.
PRISHTINA: On 25 December, Bekim Lekaj, a student of economics, from Deçan, was
stopped by the police and was severely ill-treated.
MITROVICA: On 24 December, two policemen and two plainclothed inspectors arrested
Nebih Kadri Zeqiri (46), "Tavnik" quarter, and sent him to the police station, where he was
interrogated on the whereabouts of his brother Abedin. Nebih was ordered to report to the
police station the next day.
On 26 December, in the vicinity of the green market, two traffic policemen physically ill-
treated Besim Fazli Tahiri (16) from Stantërg.
RAHOVEC: On 13 December, on his return from Germany, Hysen A. Kabashi (1961) from
the village of Çifllak was stopped by the Serbian police in Zubin Potok and insulted on a
family and national basis. He was physically ill-treated, too.
On 26 December, professor Veli Orllani from Brestovc, chairman of the LDK branch, was
taken for "informative talks" to the police station.
PODUJEVA: On 22 December, police searched for Ilmi, Nexhip and Qamil Rifat Havolli
regarding the breaking in the school. Ejup Havolli from Llapashtica was sent to serve a 4
month prison term for being in possession of a weapon without permit.
On 25 December, at the bus station, Serbian police beat up passers-by, as well as the bus
drivers Bujar and Petrit Babashtica.
DEÇAN: On 25 December, in the outskirts of Peja, police stopped the wedding guests of
Tahir Sylëmetaj and physically ill-treated the following persons: Isen Mehmetaj, Muharrem
Rama, Tahir Sylmeta and Zymer Gjura. On finding out that they were travelling to Vuthaj
near Gusia, policemen started insulting the newly elected president of Montenegro.
On 26 December, Afrim Isufaj (1963), member of the District Financial Council in Junik,
was arrested and later on released. On 27 December, he was summoned for "informative
talks" to the police station. He was interrogated on his activity within the Council as well as
on the funeral of the recently killed Ismet Çaush Gjocaj.

STUDENTS' PROTESTS, 30 DECEMBER 1997

Council for the Defence of Human Rights and Freedoms in Prishtina
has available information on 121 ill-treated persons in Prishtina,
Peja, Gjakova, Mitrovica and Gjilan. We have estimated that the
number of ill-treated persons is much higher.

ON THE WIDESPREAD REPRESSION AND HARASSMENT PERPETRATED BY HE SERBIAN POLICE AND OTHER AUTHORITIES IN KOSOVA FROM 28 SEPTEMBER, UNTIL 5 OCTOBER, 1997


From 28 - 30 September, peaceful walks of the Albanian citizens for the unconditional return of
Albanian students to school and university facilities in Kosova, went on. Many cases of physical ill-treatment were reported in Prishtina, Mitrovica, Ferizaj and Prizren.

On 1 October, during the peaceful protests in Prishtina, Mitrovica, Peja, Prizren, Gjakova, Gjilan and Ferizaj, large police forces intervened brutally using tear-gas cannons against the peaceful protesters and physically ill-treating hundreds of Albanian citizens, many of whom suffered bad injuries, were arrested, taken for "informative talks", beaten-up, insulted and provoked. Police perpetrated physical ill-treatments in other towns of Kosova, as well. At the beginning of this report, we are writing about the cases reported so far.

PRISHTINA: On 30 September, at about 9 p.m., after the protest march, in different parts of
the town, police physically ill-treated the following students: Driton Hajrullahu (1977) and
Muhamet Mehmeti (1977) from P_rlepnica village near Gjilan; Besim Hisen Zulfaj (1975)
from Seniku village and Adnan Hoxha (1979) from Bellanica village near Malisheva; Besim
Sh. Samadraxha (1975) and Afrim Telaku (1975) from Banja e Malishev_s; Driton I. Morina
(1976) from Gllareva village near Klina. Students Naim Gashi (1975) from B_rli_i village and
Enver Berisha (1972) from Krysheci village near Peja were stopped by the police in
"Dardania" quarter while distributing the placards for protests and were taken to the police
station, where they were subjected to physical ill-treatment.
On 1 October, at about 12 p.m., after the beginning of the students' peaceful protests in
Prishtina, large police forces intervened in "Velania" quarter and physically ill-treated many
students, teachers and citizens, such as: prof.dr. Ejup Statovci, Rector of the University of
Prishtina; prof.dr. Ahmet Geci, Vice-rector; Bujar Dugolli, Chairman of the Students'
Independent Union; Muhamet Mavraj, chairman of the Assembly of Students' Independent
Union; Driton Laj_i, vice-chairman; Albin Kurti and Lul_zon Jagxhiu, members of the
Presidency, who were arrested, interrogated, physically ill-treated and duly released later on.
Physically ill-treated were also: prof.dr. Pajazit Nushi, chairman of CDHRF and professor at
Philosophical Faculty; Ibrahim Makolli, member of CDHRF; prof.dr. Fuad Rizvanolli,
professor at the Faculty of Economics suffered injuries on his back, shoulder and his left hand;
Nexhmije Ymeri (1976), a student from Sk_nderaj; Halit Buqaj (1977), a student from
Suhareka; Ali A. Shala, student from Negrofci village near Gllogoc; Sherif Azemi (1928),
pensioner and his daughter Ajshe Azemi (1968), teacher, living on "Robert Gajdiku" str.91,
suffered bad injuries; Ilaz Qazimi (1928); Ahmet Janova (1931), pensioner, living on "Novi

height of 3 m, she miscarried a child; Sefer Krasniqi (1968), student from Smallusha near
Lipjan; Kadri Salihu (1933), pensioner living on "Jastrebci" str.19/A; the pupils of "Dr. Ali
Sokoli" medical school: Artan Mustafa, Hana Haxholli, Behar Hyseni, Besa Bibaj, Fitore
Jusufi, Labinot Gashi, Genita Hajdari, Nora Byty_i, Ardian Jashari, Ekrem Aliu, Sabrie Zullufi
suffered injuries on her head, Minerva D_rmaku (1979) living in "Lagjja e spitalit" no.88 and
Mimoza Byty_i had broken legs, while Zenun Alihajdari, teacher, was taken to the police
station and was insulted on a national basis. Other physically ill-treated persons were:
Sebahate Bunjaku (1968), living on "Pozhega" str.33; Artana Bardhaj (1976), student,
"Lakrishte" quarter 4/30; Genc Shala (1976), student, "Ulpiana" quarter 1/13, physically ill-
treated at the police station, too, and suffered severe injuries on his head and other parts of his

pensioner from Dyzi near Podujeva suffered severe injuries, especially on his head, shoulders

"Robert Gajdiku" str., suffered injuries on his head and back; Bajram Berisha (1962), farmer
from Sfirca near Kamenica, had broken left hand and injured his left leg; Fuat Islami (23),
student; Rrahim Krasniqi (1946), technical worker at the Faculty of Architecture and Civil
Engineering, living on "Kasollat" str.195 and his son Habib (1981), pupil of "Gjin Gazulli"
secondary school, who fainted due to the tear-gas; Ardit_ Kajtazaj, student from Lubova near
Istog; Vlora R. Zeqiraj, student from Studenica near Istog, who fainted due to the tear-gas and
asked for medical care; Dem_ Loxhaj from Istog suffered severe injuries and asked for
medical care; Sallah Abedin Salihu, student from D_rvar near Vushtrri suffered injuries on his
head and body.
About 10 policemen went to the yard of "Xhevdet Doda" secondary school and physically ill-
treated the pupils and other citizens, among whom were: Zanfina Ademi, pupil living in
"Dardania" quarter 9/1; Selman Rugova, teacher; Blerim Stavileci, reporter of Albanian daily
"Bujku"; Zek_ Haxhosaj; Albert Bisaku (1979), student from Bishtazhin near Gjakova, and
two other old people, whose names we were not in a position to note. Police confiscated the
camera of Sevdie Ahmeti, chairperson of the Centre for the Protection of Women and
Children.
At the "Republic Boulevard" and other parts of the town, large police forces intervened and
ill-treated tens Albanian citizens, who suffered severe injuries, just to metion few: Islam
Bektashi from Prishtina; Is_ Restelica from Podujeva, political activist, who was arrested;
Sahit Makolli (1938) living on "Xhemajl Ibishi" str.92; Bajram Gashi (1948), teacher at "28
N_ntori" technical school; Nazmi Sejdiu (1932), pensioner living on "Ganimete T_rbeshi"
str.13; brothers Fazli (1947), teacher, and Nebih Maloku (1955), tailor, living on "Drenica II"
str.53, who was physically ill-treated at the police station, too; Muharrem Hasani (1973), tailor
from Sibovc near Podujeva; Halim Selmani (1938), pensioner living on "Mal_sori" str.10;
Shefqet Vatovci (1949), worker at Kosova GE in Obiliq, suffered injuries on his head and
asked for medical care; Rexhep Rama (1940), worker living on "Drenica II" str.33; Ramiz
Matoshi (1930), unemployed living on "Drenica I" str. 213; Rabit Halimi (1944), taxi driver
from Obiliq; Sanije Rusinovci (1980), pupil from Nishec; Merita Sejdiu (1981), pupil from

injuries on his left eye and his right leg; Nebih Balaj (1952), chairman of the Independent

Muhamet Krasniqi (1955), "Dardania" quarter 11/510, Riza Bicaj, Nehat Qena, Faton Osmani,
Frrok Kristaj and Syl_ Osmanaj, all of them reporters of Albanian daily "Bujku", were
subjected to physical ill-treatment. Large police forces settled nearby Publishing House
"Rilindja" and checked every entrance and exit and working environments of journalists.
Shaban Maloku (1964), engineer, "Drenica III" str.44/34, was ill- treated by the police in front
of his TV service "Data electronic" in "Sremi" str.; Islam Islami (1963), merchant, "Drenica I"
str.48, was ill-treated by the police in front of his gate, under the pretext that he had showed
the way to demonstrators; Ylli Islami (1981), pupil, "Drenica I" str.18, was stopped by the
police on his way to school and was ill-treated.

Physical ill-treatments went on even after the protests. 10 policemen went into the house of Baki Imeri (1977), student, "Istra" str. and searched for the sheltered students. Uniformed policemen and plainclothed inspectors broke the door of "Begolli" tea-house in "Bihaqi" str., and ill-treated Milaim Binaku (1971), owner living on "Bistrica" str.42; his brother Bashkim (1972), waiter; his father Faik (1952), economist, who suffered injuries on his head and fainted; and his uncle Ragip (1955), unemployed, who had broken right arm.
About 15 policemen surrounded the "4 Llulla" tea-shop, 3 of them went into it and beat Bafti
Asllan Hajdini (1961) from Hajvalia, teacher at "7 Shtatori" Trade, Catering and Touristic School in Prishtina and about 20 other Albanian citizens.
During the police intervention in "4 A" tea-shop, Haki Halimi (1968), "Dibra" str.2, employed at
the tea-shop, was subjected to ill-treatment and suffered injuries on his head and backbone.
Hajrush Preniqi and other present citizens were ill-treated, too.

MITROVICA: On 29 September, uniformed policemen and plainclothed inspectors checked the
identities of, ill-treated and arrested some citizens that had taken walks in the evening. Among
the ill-treated persons are: Ramadan Tahiri and Kastriot Ahmeti, "Ura e Gjakut" quarter, Avdi
Loshi from Padalishta near Sk_nderaj, Ekrem Smakolli from Rashan near Mitrovica, Xhevat
Sylaj and Hasan Ramaj, arrested and released later on, students of Mining Faculty.
On September 30, on the pretext of putting up the banners "University, Kosova, Students,
tomorrow will be late!" in Mitrovica, 7 policemen physically ill-treated in Shipol village, Bedri
Jetish Bajrami (19), Agron Ajet Aliu (22), Izer Bislim Gashi (26), Musa Tahir Berisha (19),
Besnik Ajet Xheloshi (18), G_zim Avdyl Avdyli (19) and G_zim Peci (17), pupil with the
Secondary Technical school "Arkitekt Sinani" in Mitrovica.
Rushit Qekani (38) from Tetova, owner of the bakery "Rinia" in "Tavnik" quarter, was physically ill-treated and arrested in Mitrovica. Artim Sejdi Jashari (23), student with the Metallurgical Faculty, was arrested in "Tavnik" quarter, while Valton Rifat Nimani (20), merchant was ordered to pull off the slogan otherwise he will be beaten up. Bedri Peci (20), "Tavnik" quarter, was badly physically ill-treated and suffered head injuries. He was threatened not to participate in the protests otherwise he will end up as most of the people did in Bosnia. Muhamet Syl_ Hajrizi, deputy with the Assembly of the Republic of Kosova, vice-chair of the Sub-CDHRF in Mitrovica and teacher with the High Technical School, was legitimated and threatened in the pedestrian street, Mexhit Sejdi Beka (36) from Kqiqi i Madh village, LDK activist, Ramadan Deliu and Jahir Deliu, both teachers with the "Meto Bajraktari" primary school and Qamil Kajtaz Beci (30), "Ura e Gjakut" quarter, were physically ill- treated.
On October 1, during peaceful protests, great police forces intervened and physically ill-
treated tens of Albanian citizens, who suffered body injuries. The following persons were
physically ill-treated in different parts of the town: Xhevdet Kamber Ademi (29) and Blerim
Ahmet Barani (36), "Tavnik" quarter, Sadik Hysen Sadiku (53), teacher with the "Frang Bardhi"
Gymnasium, Fatmir Avdullah Avdullahu (34), worker with the Enterprise "Past_rtia", Xhylazim
Sumiqi (68) from Rashani, Behxhet Ferati from Bare village, Fetah Meholli from Melenica
village, Muhamet Sahat_iu (67), "Qendra" quarter, Ibush Sara_i (29), "Bair" quarter, Zeqir
Dibran Bajrami (61) from Stant_rgu village, Shyqeri Ramadan Mustafa (56) and Xhelil Rrahman Haxhiu (52) from Smrekonica village of Vushtrri, Latif Jashari and Nexhmedin Mustafa, members of the presidency of the Albanian Republican Party, based in Mitrovica, Bejtush Haziri, Xhevdet Tahir Nuli (24), Hajriz Sylejman Arifi (24), Fejzullah Avdi Syla (23) and Nexhat Idriz Syla (23), all from Zasella village. Due to physical injuries, Xhevdet had to seek for medical help.
The policeman Dejan Saviq from Gojbula village of Vushtrri physically ill-treated many
passers-by, amongst whom: Bahri Ismail Fejzullahu (40), "Bair" quarter, who due to injuries
suffered is still on medical treatment, Lulzim Bahri Ibrahimi (14), pupil with the "Bedri Gjinaj"
primary school in Mitrovica and Maliq Rifat Sumiqi (50), both from Reshaniu village.
Three policemen threatened to liquidate the sisters Vlora (19) and Gjirokastra Halit Barani
(16). The policeman Teofil from Montenegro, accompanied by two other policemen, broke the
windows of the store owned by Fadil Murat Sadiku (31) from Zhabari i Ep_rm village and
physically ill-treated him and his brother Bashkim (26) and other passers-by amongst whom a 6
years old boy, who fainted. There were also physically ill-treated in their shops Daut (20) and
Sabri Ramadan Sadiku and the customer Fadil Shyti (30), "Bair" quarter and Blerim Ali Emini
(27), owner of "Bleri" butchery, while Nysret Pantina's tea-shop "Besarb_ri" was partly damaged by the policemen. Three plain-clothed policemen, stopped and physically ill-treated in "Bair" quarter Musa Bajram Mustafa (30), journalist with the daily "Koha Ditore", confiscated his press card and broke his camera. Three Serbian youngsters went into the garden of the "Aziz Sylejmani" primary school and interrupted the lessons by throwing stones and crackers and by breaking the windows of the school.

PEJA: On October 1, during peaceful protests, large police forces intervened in different
parts of the town and physically ill-treated tens of civilians who suffered body injuries. The
following persons were physically ill-treated: Smajl Habibi (65), Ram_ A. Laj_i from Pepaj
village, Zek_ Hasan Muriqi from Koshutani village, Nezir Gashi (62) from Graboci village,

Aver Husaj was arrested while Nur_ _eku from Qyshku village and Blerim Sinanaj (17),
were physically ill-treated, arrested and duly released. Sami Dran_olli, Xhevat Laj_i and Feim
Begolli were taken for "informative talks" to the police station. Ramiz Kabashi from Prigoda
village of Istog, was arrested and kept under arrest for a day and was physically ill-treated.
Bujar Hajdin Ukaj (1979), "Kalaja" street, was sentenced under a quick procedure by the
Serbian-run court for petty-offenses.
On October 2, Nezir Gashi (62) from Graboci village, former- political prisoner, member
of local LDK branch in Peja, where he was physically ill-treated for participating at the
protests of October 1. After a while he was released. Under the same pretext there were taken to the police station Tahir Shala from Logja village, LDK activist and Xhelal K. Nik_i,
member of the LDK presidency, branch in Peja.

PRIZREN: On September 29, Fatmir Kastrati, professor, chairman of the PPK, branch in
Prizren, living at "Jahja Mrika" 40, Hasan Ibri, principal and Ferat Batiu, teacher with the
"Mati Logoreci" primary school, were stopped by the police due to the protest walk at the
town center. Zejnullah Sopi, teacher, was taken to the police station allegedly for verifying his
identity and was interrogated about the protest walk. At the end he was released.
On October 1, at the time when the protests were held, there were stopped, legitimated and
threatened by the police the following persons: Fatmir G_rdella and Debatik Hasani, pupils,
Salajdin Braha, vice-chairman of the local LDK branch in Prizren who was also seized the
IND, Engj_ll _etta, secretary and Hysni Hoxha and Qazim Tha_i, member of the LDK
presidency, branch in Prizren, Elmi Byty_i, vice-chair and Shani Pulaj, member of the
presidency of the PPK, branch in Prizren, Asllan Bekteshi, journalist, correspondent of daily
"Bujku", Salih Kryeziu, Fahri Krasniqi, Mitat Krasniqi, Naser Bresa, Murat Gashi, Bajram
Zenelaj, Ilmi Pulaj, Fatmir Kastrati, chairman of PPK, branch in Prizren and Mustaf_ Morina,
teacher with the "N_na Terez_" (Mother Theresa) special school.
Besim Baraliu, chairman of the Sub-CDHRF in Suhareka, teacher with the "Lu_iano
Matroni" secondary school in Prizren, Luan Kurtishi, pupil and Behar Hamz_ Gashi (1978),
"Ulqini" street, no.9, were physically ill-treated during the protests.
After the protests, the police physically ill-treated Nikoll_ Pjet_r Lekaj (1986), Denis
Engj_ll Kabashi (1986) and Admir Adnan Abrashi (1986), all pupils with the "Lidhja e
Prizrenit" primary school.

GJILAN: On October 1, during the peaceful protests Habib Hamdiu (1958), taxi-driver
from Zhegra village, was physically ill- treated. Due to his body injuries, he had to seek for
medical care. Two police inspectors went in the house of Afrim K_iku (1961), cameraman,
"Kosova" street 42, who was arrested and his camera was seized. Ardian Hajdari (1979),
student with the Electrical- Engineering Faculty in Prishtina, living at "Mon Beqiri 5/24, on
his way back to Gjilan, was stopped by the police nearby the bus station and was sent to one of
the police offices in this station and was physically ill-treated on the pretext that he had
participated on the peaceful protests. Due to the injuries suffered, he had to seek for medical
care. At about 7.00 p.m., some groups of policemen stopped the civilians, especially the
youngsters to walk in the pedestrian street by threatening and insulting them.

FERIZAJ: On September 28, during the protest walk, the police legitimated and arrested
the political activists of Koshare village: Tefik Fazliu (badly ill-treated at the Security Center),
Besim Ibrahimi, Hajrullah Ademi, Mustaf_ Beqiri, teacher, Rizah Reshani, correspondent of
"Rilindja" from Ferizaj, the teachers Osman Muhaxheri (Dremjak village), Shukri Nuha
(Lloshkobare village), Ali Uka (Shtime) and Zekir Zeka (Ferizaj), who was also physically ill-
treated. Nazmi Krasniqi, Mustaf_ Baraliu, Gani Mustafa, Nijazi Hajdari, Ferid Sadiku, Jonuz
Rexhepi, Latif Osmani, Musa Ajvazi, Burim Aliu and Driton Zeiqri, all educational and
political activists from Ferizaj, were legitimated and provoked by the police.
On October 1, the peaceful protests for the unconditional release of school and university
facilities in Albanian, started. But, special police forces blocked the street and ordered the
students to disperse. More than 10.000 supporters did not manage to join the students, due to
police cordons. There were arrested: Sylejman Byty_i, professor with the High Technical
School and Sabri Berisha, principal with the "Gjon Serre_i" primary school. Xhevdet Shabani
political activist from Varosh village was physically ill- treated. The police searched for Hyzri
Beqir Varoshi, owner of the house-school, Mr. Isak Jashari, principal with the High Technical
School and Rrustem Sefedini, chairman with the Educational Council. Kujtim Byty_i (16) was
arrested in order to tell his father whereabauts, Sylejman Byty_i, professor.
On October 2, Mr. Isak Jashari, principal, Veli Jerliu and Hysen Abazi, professors as well
as Amir Vllahiu, student with the High Technical School in Ferizaj were taken for
"informative talks"; Nexhat Sejdiu, was physically ill-treated and Avdullah Islami (1948) from
Ferizaj was arrested for participating at the protests. On October 3, Lirie Sylejmani (1974)
from Rahovic_ village, was taken for "informative talks" about the protests.

GJAKOVA: On October 1, early in the morning, large police forces surrounded the town.
At about 11.00 a.m., in the center of the town, the police used the force against the civilians,
some of whom were arrested and taken to the police station. At about 11.00 a.m., the police
also blocked the LDK facilities in Gjakova. Nine policemen settled in the facilities of the
"Zekeria Rexha" primary school, where about 2.000 Albanian and 42 Serbian pupils conduct
their lessons. Three underaged were kept at the basement of the Serbian security center all
night. Subjected to physical ill- treatment were Mehmet Ukshini (60) and Dervish Halilaj
from Beci village and the pupil Robert Hoxha from C_rmjani village. Sadri R. Uka and Musa
S. Balia from Smolica village, Nexhat B. Metaj from Skivjani village and G_zim Q. Ukaj
from Babaj i Bok_s village, were sentenced to 15 days imprisonment by the Serbian-run Court
for Petty-offenses for participating at the peaceful protests. The police took off the registering
plates from 30 local buses in order to stop their running.

DE_AN: On October 2, Nazim Qazim Ademaj, from Ratishi i Posht_m village, student
with the High Pedagogical School in Gjakova, was physically ill-treated by the police while
coming back home. Sk_nder Komoni, driver with the Turistic Agency "Kastrati" from Peja,
was physically ill-treated by the police.

GLLOGOC: On October 1, the police stopped the running of the buses, relation Gllogoc-
Prishtina and stopped all the buses coming from Skenderaj. Selim Hamdi S. Bashota (13)
from Komorani village, at about 1.00 p.m. left the school and made his way to Prishtina. No
one knows about his whereabouts.

ISTOG: On October 1, Naser Osmanaj, principal with the "Martin Camaj" primary school
in Gurrakoc village, was taken to the police station for "informative talks".

KAMENICA: On October 1, the police stopped the buses "A. Komerc" of Hodonoc village
and "P_rparimi" of Kamenica coming to Prishtina, took off the bus plates and ordered them to
go back to where they came from. Large police and military forces settled in front of the
"Ismail Qemali" Gymnasium and stopped and legitimated the passers-by and the cars.

LIPJAN: On October 1, large police forces surrounded the town, stopped the buses and the
traffic, legitimated the civilinas, searched the cars and stopped the people going to Prishtina
and Ferizaj.

RAHOVEC: On October 1, the police blocked the entrances and exits of this town. Shahip
Brahim Spahiu from Opterusha village, pupil with the "Ramiz Sadiku" secondary school, was
arrested by the police and was sent to the police station where he was physically ill-treated
and released.

SKENDERAJ: On October 1, great police forces blocked the entrances and the exits of the
town, stopped, legitimated and searched the civilians, stopped the cars and the buses. The day
before, two plain clothed policemen arrested Gani Haxhi Tha_i from Broja village, political
activist and sent him in the direction of Mitrovica. His family is not informed on his
whereabouts.

SUHAREKA: On October 1, as everywhere else, the police blocked the town and settled
nearby the "Skender Luarasi" secondary school and nearby "7 Marsi" and "Shk_ndija" primary
schools.

VUSHTRRI: On October 1, great police forces blocked the entrances and exits of the town,stopped the buses and other cars, searched and legitimated the civilians and settled nearby the "Muharrem Bekteshi" Gymnasium, where the Serbian refugees are settled. The target groups were teachers and pupils. After 1.30 p.m. the police stopped and physically ill-treated the pupils and the students who were coming back from the protests held in Prishtina.
At about 3.50 p.m., in the garden of the "Ali Kelmendi" primary school, where the pupils
of the "Muharrem Bekteshi" Gymnasium were having the lessons, about 15 uniformed and 4
plain- clothed policemen interrupted their classes and physically ill- treated Ilaz Ademi,
physical training teacher. Xhafer Murat Islami (18), pupil from Tarazha village, had to seek
medical care, due to the injuries suffered. The police interrogated the teachers Bedri Shyti and
Selman Mustafa.
On October 2, there were arrested, provoked and then duly released: Izet Morina, principal
with the "Andon Z. _ajupi" primary school and the teachers Mexhit Sadiku, Xhafer Ismaili,
Sefedin Maxhuni and Hamit Mrija.
ZHUR: On 1 October, on the way Zhur-Prizren, police stopped the bus and took out the pupils
of "Lu_iano Matroni" Medical School in Prizren: Meriman Begaj, Flurim Ademaj, Jemin
Memaj and Shp_tim Ajazaj and provoked them on the pretext that they were going to join the
demonstrations.

According to the information reported so far on the police interventions against peaceful protesters, police ill-treated more than 500 Albanians, of whom 250 were beaten up, 150 injured and 34 detained, of whom 95 were students and 32 children.

Below, we are giving the weekly report.

28 SEPTEMBER:

MITROVICA: In the woods called "Maja e Zez_", two policemen arrested Hajrullah Shyqeri
Ahmeti (48) and his two sons Kadri (20) and Avdi (16). At the police station of Stant_rg,
police ill- treated Hajrullah on the pretext that he had taken timbers without permit on the
state property. In the vicinity of "Qendra" tea- house, three policemen stopped and checked the
identity of Tafil Maliq Zeqiri (37), whom they plundered 450 dinars and DM 150.

SEPTEMBER 29:

MITROVICA: Policemen arrested for weapons Tafil Zenel Isufi (64), from the village of
Shipoll. At the local police station he was physically ill-treated by the policemen named Zhika
and Darko.
VUSHTRRI: Police stopped, checked the identity, insulted and physically ill-treated Rexhep
Tahiri and Lutfi Hasani, both pupils of the "Marin Be_ikemi" secondary school. Xhavit
Krasniqi, a friend of theirs, was hit with a notebook on his face. Halim Morina (1947), bill
collector of the Financing District Council and LDK activist, received a summon to report to
the District Court in Vushtrria.
SKENDERAJ: Miftar Ismaili from the village of Ku_ica, living in Skenderaj, was taken for
weapons to the police.
MALISHEVA: Police, in the vicinity of the National Theater in Prishtina, checked the identity
of, insulted and physically ill- treated Hysni Kilaj, activist of the LDK and Selman Hoti,
associate of the Financing District Council in Malisheva.
PODUJEVA: Police prevented the holding of a humanitarian concert, organized by the Youth
Forum of the LDK, with the aim of helping students whose financial situation is more difficult
one.
SHTIME: On September 25, 26 and 29, Xhemshir Rashiti (1958), teacher at the "Bajram
Curri" primary school in the village of Petrova and post graduate student of History at the
University of Tirana, was interrogated about his stay in Albania and on the current prevailing
political situation.
On September 28 and 29, Shaqir Shaqiri (1952), worker, and Ruzhdi Shaqiri (1955), teacher,
were taken to the police and accused of organizing a football match between the teams of
"Vjosa" and "Kastrioti".

SEPTEMBER 30:

MITROVICA: On September 17, an unidentified person, asked Deli Smail Shabani (53), a
taxi driver from the village of Shipol, to take him to Podgorica. In the vicinity of Berane,
under the threat of a gun, Deli was thrown out of his car. He was thrown down into an abyss.
He had broken his left arm, right knee, several ribs and fainted. Some people helped him by
sending him to the Rozhaje hospital. Ever since, Deli knows nothing about his "Mercedes".
On September 24 and 29, Shaqir Hazir Brahimi (36), from Koshutova e Bobit was
interrogated for weapons and was physically ill-treated by a policeman named Sekulla. He
was taken to his village and thrown out to the ground in an unconscious state. His health
condition is very bad. 13 policemen entered the "Ardiani" shop in the vicinity of the "Migjeni"
primary school in Tavnik and asked its proprietor, Hakif Isuf Halili (35), his brother Jakup
(38), and two customers, Sadri Sabedin Idrizi (36) and Bedri Sherif Peci (20) to translate the
things written in the placards of the Students' Independent Union. They were physically ill-
treated and insulted on a national basis.
KLINA: After the regular meeting of the chairmanship of the Sub-CDHRF in Klina,
policemen stopped and checked the identity of Ramadan Krasniqi, chairman, and Ilaz Selimi,
member of the presidency. The two were provoked.
MALISHEVA: Azem Krasniqi, principal of the "Mustafa Bakia" primary school in Caralluka,
was taken for informative talks. He was insulted on a national basis.
PRIZREN: Four armoured cars paraded through the town streets during the whole day.
OBILIQ: On September 28, 29 and 30, police raided in search for weapons the house of
Mustaf_ Curri (1964), engineer in "Electrokosova", in the village of Mazgit. He was taken to
the police and physically ill-treated by the policeman Zoran Mitiq.
FERIZAJ: The Court for Petty Offences charged Bedri Jusufi from the village of Lloshkobanja
with DIN 1100. He was charged due to organizing a football match between the teams of
"_elik" and "V_llaz_ria".

OCTOBER 1:

FERIZAJ: Serb installed district authorities sent an official document to the "Sk_nderbeu"
primary school in the village of Jezerc. They ordered the principal to make available the
school facilities for the Serbian presidential elections.

OCTOBER 2:

PRISHTINA: Os_ Osaj (1975), from Peja, on arriving to Prishtina, was physically ill-treated
by the police. He was looted DM 50.
FERIZAJ: Nexhat Sejdiu was physically ill-treated after his refusal to pull off the University
placards. Avdullah Islami (1948), was sent to the police after being accused of participating in
the protests.
PRIZREN: Policemen entered the premises of the "Mustafa Bakia" primary school. They
interrogated Kadri _ejku under the pretext that he is teaching secondary school pupils.
Compulsive authorities in the "Panorama" enterprise seized 100 copies of the "Lidhja"
newspaper.
ISTOG: On the road to Peja, police stopped the bus from Istog. After checking the identity of

Vrella as well as Demush Januzaj from Lubizhda.

OCTOBER 3:

PRISHTINA: Police visited the premises of the "Sami Frash_ri" secondary school in
"Jablanica" str. no. 211 and summoned its proprietor, Mehmet Alijaj, to the police. At the
Hani i Elezit border cross, police stopped and interrogated Nuhi Byty_i, journalist of TV
Prishtina. Musli Musliu from the village of Pallqisht i Poshtem, was ill-treated due to the fact
that he solidarized with him.
MITROVICA: A policeman named Teofil, in the vicinity of the bus station, arrested Musabin
Bajram Peci (12), pupil of the "Avdullah Shabani" primary school and Avdullah Zyber Sadriu
(15), pupil of the "Arkitekt Sinani" secondary school. The two were beaten at the police
station.
SKENDERAJ: On October 1, Gani Haxhi Tha_i, from the village of Broja, was arrested in
Skenderaj. Ever since his whereabouts are unknown.
GJAKOVA: In the village of Rogova e Hasit, some 60 armed policemen, wearing bullet proof
vests seized timber estimated to DM 100.000.

OCTOBER 4:

VUSHTRRI: Police in Prishtina stopped and checked the identity of Sabit Kadriu (1960)
chairman of the Sub-CDHRF in Vushtrria and Ferat Beqiri, student, from the village of
Oshlan.

DELAYED INFORMATION:

SHTIME: On August 1 and 2, Naim Murtez Mehmeti (1956), auto- mechanic from the village
of Vojnovci i Shtimjes, was taken for weapons to the local Security Center. As he was
physically ill-treated he suffered many injuries.
On August 2, Ramadan Behluli (1960), who is currently working in Germany, was physically
ill-treated for weapons by 6 policemen of the local police station in Shtime.
On August 1, 2 and 3, Ibush Jashari (1942), farmer from the village of Vojnovc, was taken for
weapons to the police and was physically ill-treated by a policeman named Zoran.
On August 26, Nazmi Iballi (1966), economist and activist of the LDK, was taken for
informative talks and interrogated about the forthcoming protests and the education in
Albanian in Kosova.
On August 27, Jetullah Rexhaj, principal of the "Bajram Curri" primary school in the village
of Petrova, was taken for informative talks and interrogated about the beginning of the new
school year and the current political situation.
On September 10, Mufail Salihaj (1963), an agricultural engineer from Petrova, was taken for
informative talks regarding the political situation.
On September 12, police looted Albanian merchants. Hysni Xhema and Ekrem Shabani were
seized goods estimated to DM 2500.
On September 22, on the road Shtime-Prizren, police stopped the car of Muhamet Bekteshi,
teacher, and physically ill-treated his son Bekim (1978), pupil. Muhamet was looted goods
estimated to DM 1000.
On August 23, in the car wash service in Lashkobare, Haqif Hysenaj, technician from the
village of Petrova, was attacked and physically ill-treated by a policeman who took his driving
license.
KA_ANIK: On September 5, the house of Ali Dubova (1945), farmer, and his son Shaban
Dubova (1972), in the village of D_rnogllava, was raided for weapons. The two were arrested
and severely ill-treated by the police. Due to injuries suffered Ali had to seek medical help.
On September 5, Azem Teneqja (1959), bill collector of the Financing District Council, was
taken for weapons to the police. His house was raided for several times until his mother
handed in a "Karabin" rifle with 40 bullets.
SK_NDERAJ: On September 10, police raided in search for weapons the house of Sejdi A.
Berisha in the village of Broja. He was arrested but released under the condition to report
again with the other male members of the family: Imer (34), currently living in Germany,
Skender (22), Mursel (15) and Avdi (9).
On September 25, police searched for Imer S. Istogu (1981). He was left an order to report to
the police.
FERIZAJ: On September 19 and 22, Rexhep Krosa, activist of the LDK, was taken for
informative talks.
On September 26, district tax authorities closed private run shops in the villages of Zllatar and
Tankosiq.
PODUJEVA: On September 20, policemen went to the Serbian civilian named Zoran (42), in
the village of K_rpimeh, due to the fact that he had sold some land to Faik Sadriu (75) and
Mursel Sadriu (46) former policeman. Faik and Zoran were sent to the police and ordered not
to cultivate crops that grow higher than 15 cm, since according to the policemen the place is
used by Albanian terrorists. Due to the same reason, they were ordered to pull down the
premises of the old post office in K_rpimeh.
On September 24, Besim Islami from the village of Lluzhan was arrested, interrogated and
taken to the local police station.
On September 25, Selman Rexhepi (18), from Braina was taken by the police and sent to the
local police station in Podujeva. The pretext is unknown.

PRISHTINA: On September 23, the Serbian policeman Zoran Kostiq, made a rape attempt
against A.J. (1979), pupil, living in "Lenini" str. no. 161-14.
On September 25, in the vicinity the old post office in Prishtina, unidentified, masked persons,
physically ill-treated the students Eset Rama (1973) from the village of Lup_ i Posht_m near
Podujeva and Fahri Gashi.
MITROVICA: On September 26, a police inspector of the local Security Center, arrested
Jahja Bajram Azemi (54), living in "Ibri" quarter, interrogated him and ordered to hand in his
son Festim (20) and his nephew Fatlum (20), who are currently living in Germany. Otherwise,
he was threatened with castration and liquidation.
On September 26, Muhamet Sahit Smakolli (24), a repatriated asylum-seeker from Germany,
was taken for informative talks regarding his stay there.
KLINA: On September 27, a group of some 20 Serbian civilians, armed with automatic guns,
under the leadership of police inspector Zharko Stojanoviq, entered private run shops and
restaurants and ill-treated those present.
In the "Agromargoni" pool saloon, the following persons were physically ill-treated: Bardhec
Mrijaj, owner, Prek_ and Viktor Gjidoda, Sami Gashi and Pashk Palushi.
In the "Marleku" restaurant in the "Perlina" quarter, Zef Grabanica from Klina, Mikel Gjergji
from the village of Krusheva e Vogel e Klin_s, Ali Babaj from Sk_nderaj and Islam Kryeziu
from Bubaveci i Malishev_s.
In the "Globi Kos" restaurant the following persons were ill-treated: Nebih Dushi, Reshit
Gashi, chairman of the PPK branch in Klina, Skender Rraci, secretary, Salih Ibishi, Sokol
Ibishi, Gani Foniqi, Binak Syla and Fatos Syla, members of the presidency, and Haxhi Ibishi,
chairman of the PPK sub-branch in Klina; as well as Burim Ram_ Sejdiu from Grabanica;
Albert Zenuni, Shani Kryeziu, Xhavit Mehmet Tha_i, Ham_z Dushi and Kadri Murseli from
Radavc; Gazmend Qupeva, Bashkim Sejdiu, and Enver Byty_i.
In the "Ibizeza" restaurant police physically ill-treated Tom_ Demiri, owner, Gjergj Kabashi,
Nol Berisha, Pashk Rrapi, Xhavit Gashi, Jahir Gashi, Tom_ Duhani, Tom_ Mirdita, Martin
Gojani and Fatime Demaj, waitress, who was taken to the police.

Nur weil er die Anweisung nicht befolgte das nur serbisch in den Schulen unterichtet werden darf!

nur weil die uck serbische terroristen das blut aus dem körper geschossen hat, muss das nicht heißen das ihr blut für kosova gelassen habt :roll:

Serbisches Blut wurde viel mehr für das Kosovo gegeben als euer.Was habt ihr den schon für das Kosovo getan? Kosovo war schon serbisch als noch keine Albaner im Kosovo lebten.
