"The village of Negovan renamed Flampuron (flamur) from the Greek state. Negovani Is a small village near the town of Florina, in the Greek -Albanian border, with the inhabitans being mostly Albanians and some families of Vlahs (Aromans) descent.

The oldest document for this village is an Ottoman list for taxes collected from 15th century. In 1928 it had 1.100 population and the majority of them feel Albanians.In 1902 the village has 100 Albanians families, 100 Aromanians families and 50 families that belong to Romanian Church (Romanians).
After of the Greek civil war (1949) no one declared themselves as Albanian or Romanian.
In 1981 all villagers called themselves as Albanians."
