Mich wundert eh, warum du Zoran dir dein Update nicht direkt ab Google runterholst. Hast ja sonst auch keine Berührungsängste zu Google, ne? ;-) Außerdem liegt Pella in Griechenland, und in besagtem Grab waren Makedonen beigesetzt, und keine FYROMer. Von dem her, betrifft es dich eh nicht.

Griechenland: Antike Funde in Saloniki
Der Bau einer neuen U-Bahn-Linie im nordgriechischen Saloniki wird zur archäologischen Fundgrube.
Mehr als 3'000 Gräber aus der römisch-byzantinischen Antike wurden bisher entdeckt. Zudem eine mit Marmorsteinen gepflasterte Hauptstrasse aus der Zeit 300 Jahre vor Christus.
An der Strasse hat es zahlreiche Säulen von Eingängen zu Geschäften der damaligen Zeit. Gefunden wurden auch tausende Schmuckstücke, goldene Kränze und Keramik.
Die Ausgrabungen sollen in die künftige U-Bahn-Station integriert werden und hinter Glas für die Reisenden sichtbar bleiben.

Even during the current economic crisis in Greece, archaelogists continue to analyze findings from the past, when financing for such analyses was more than sufficient.
The excavations in Karampournaki of North Greece during 2011, that revealed the social structure and life in ancient Macedonia as well as information about the know-how of this period, are being presented from the 1st until the 3rd of March within the framework of the 25th Archaelogical Conference in Thessaloniki.
Main speaker of the event will be Mihalis Tiverios, Professor in the Department of Archaeology of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki and head of the excavations in the Karampournaki region of Ancient Thermi in Thessaloniki.
The excavations during 2011 focused on the analysis of places excavated in the past. The study of the findings from Karabournaki, as well as the pottery as a whole, leads to a useful overview of this area of northern Greece, while through this study one can also trace how kitchen tools were constructed during the period from the 8th century B.C. until the 6th century B.C.
Finally, important information about the metallurgy of ancient Thermi has been revealed. An ancient metallurgy workshop has been examined, in which, aside from metallurgy objects, a kitchen tool has been discovered used as a vessel for the painting of the metals.

The palace of Vergina-Aegae has been preserved and reconstructed since 2010. Despite the fact that the reconstruction works concern the ground level of the palace, architectural parts of the first floor of the palace were found.
The findings of the excavation at the palace of Vergina-Aegae will be presented at the ΚΕ’ meeting concerning the archaelogical work of Macedonia and Thrace by the director of the ΙΖ’ Ephorate of Antiquities, Aggeliki Kotaridi, and the archaeologist Phelekidou.
Mrs. Kotaridi explains that 6 windows from the palace have been found in excellent condition, mainting all the details on their external side.
The dimensions and the interesting construction details of the windows indicate their origin. This unique architectural treasure is an invaluable cultural asset, providing information and giving a realistic impression of the first floor of the palace.
These findings are of great importance, since up until now, assumptions about the first floor of the building have been proven to match the reality.
Mrs. Kotaridi concluded that through these findings, Hellenistic scenography has come to light and is being presented with real dimensions.
