beides. Nur dass im hohen norden griechenlands arnaut genauso genutzt wird.
Arnautis, Arnautoglou etc sind auch nachnammen in GR.
Was vieleicht auch Interessant ist, ist folgendes:
Also mein Dorf heisst nea Byssa. Es besteht aus drei teilen "ober", "unter" und ARVANITIA, jeder zweite dort hat den beinamen "arnaut" weil deren Vorfahen von den osmanen bevorzugt behandelt wurden. Das waren Christen die dem Omanischen Landlord loyal waren. Auch gibts welche die den nachnamen "passialis" haben was soviel wie Pasha Ali's heisst. (-is wie -ides)

USA: University of California:"The Molossians were the strongest and, decisive for Macedonia, most easterly of the three most important Epeirot tribes, which, like Macedonia but unlike the Thesprotians and the Chaonians, still retained their monarchy. They were Greeks, spoke a similar dialect to that of Macedonia, suffered just as much from the depredations of the Illyrians and were in principle the natural partners of the Macedonian king who wished to tackle the Illyrian problem at its roots."

Du siehst an den Universitäten wird weiterhin das richtige gelehrt.
Aber was mich viel mehr interessieren würde,was du mit Herodot meinst? zeig mir mal was er über die Molosser sagte.
