Krešimir Ćosić Hall is a multi-use indoor arena in Zadar, Croatia. Completed in May 2008 with a capacity for 9,200 people, it is used mostly for team handball and basketball matches. It will be used as one of the venues during the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship and home matches of KK Zadar. As of October 3, 2008 its official name is Krešimir Ćosić Hall[1]. Former names were Sportski Centar Visnjik and Zadar arena. Nickname is Peka. For several months during 2008. it was the largest indoor arena in Croatia, and now is the tfird largest.
Varaždin Arena is a multi-use indoor arena in Varaždin, Croatia. It will be used mostly for team handball and basketball matches. The stadium has a capacity of 5,400 people. It will be used as one of the venues during the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship.
The arena was officially opened on December 6, 2008.[2]
Dvorana Gradski vrt (Gradski Vrt Hall) is an indoor arena in Osijek, Croatia that is currently under construction. Once completed in 2009, it will be used mostly for team handball and basketball matches. The Complex have 7 main halls (two of them with spectator seats, bigger one capacity of 3,538, and a smaller one 1,448), there will be two more smaller halls for fighting sports training. Also Complex will contain the biggest indoor track and field compound in Croatia. It will be also used as one of the venues during the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship.
