Rare photo of the Albanian Skanderbeg Nazi SS Division in 1944.Albanian Nazi 21st Waffen SS Division Skanderbeg, formed in 1944 by Heinrich Himmler and made up mostly of Albanian Muslims from Kosovo-Metohija. The division had a maximum troop strength of 8,000-9,000, over 6,000 of whom were Albanians. The division massacred Kosovo Serb civilians and rounded up Kosovo Jews who were later killed in the Nazi concentration camps.
