"See Music, Hear a Painting, Get a Book" in City Park
Skopje, 20 June 2012 (MIA) - The Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Youth Cultural Center host the 5. multimedia event "See Music, Hear a Painting, Get a Book" in Skopje's City Park on Wednesday evening.
Under the baton of UK guest Timothy Redmond, the Philharmonic Orchestra will perform unforgettable hits in symphonic adaptations, including "Angie" of the Rolling Stones, "Every Breath You" – Police, "Stairway to Heaven" – Led Zeppelin, "Bohemian Rhapsody" – Queen, "Simply the Best" – Tina Turner, "Thriller" – Michael Jackson, "Layla" – Eric Clapton, "Pride" – U2, "Another Brick in the Wall" – Pink Floyd etc, along with a couple of Macedonian songs.
During the Rock Symphony, artists Gorjan Georgiev and Nevzat Bejtuli-Kica will paint unique creations at large canvasses.
Moreover, segment "Get a Book" will include the promotion of Maxence Fermine's book "Snow", with 20,000 copies distributed to visitors.
