Kosovo’s GDP grows 4% y/y in Q2​

September 17 (SeeNews) - Kosovo’s gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by a real 4.06% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, after increasing by 5.43% in the first quarter, the statistical office, ASK, said on Thursday.

Financial and insurance activities led the sectors with the highest annual growth in April-June, at 15.67%, followed by construction, with 15.35%, information and communication, with 5.04%, scientific, professional and technical services and administrative support, with 3.99%, ASK said in a monthly report.


Kosovo's central bank expects GDP to grow by a real 3.5% in 2026, after an estimated increase of 3.6% in 2025, it said in July.
