Leserkommentare sind sehr interessant. Es scheint, dass es in Deutschland nicht nur Putinversteher sondern auch sehr viele Tsiprasversteher gibt. Bald werden unsere Medien schreiben, dass sie alle von Athen bezahlt werden um hierzulande die griechische Propaganda zu verbreiten

Das ist natürlich Blödsinn, dass unsere Medien nur im Sinne von Merkel/Schäubele geschrieben haben oder schreiben! Ich habe hier schon viele Beiträge aus unseren Medien gepostet, die mit der Politik Deutschlands gegenüber GR nicht einverstanden waren und eine Revidierung derselben forderten. Also Kirche im Dorf lassen, unsere Medienlandschaft besteht sicher nicht nur aus BLÖD und Focus...

Außerdem liest es sich häufig hier so, als ob D schuld an der Krise in GR sei, und als ob ein vermeintlicher Sieg über D alle Probleme aus der Welt schaffen würde. Träumt weiter...

Tsipras' Botschaft an die Märkte ...

Tatsächlich schlug Tsipras am Wochenende versöhnlichere Töne an. Niemand wolle Streit, und es sei niemals die Absicht seiner Regierung gewesen, "einseitig auf Griechenlands Schulden zu reagieren", versicherte der Linkspolitiker in einer Erklärung.
Diese ließ Tsipras zunächst übrigens der auf Wirtschaftsnachrichten spezialisierten US-Nachrichtenagentur Bloomberg zukommen - ein Indiz, dass die Botschaft auch und vor allem die Kapitalmärkte beruhigen sollte. Hintergrund: Der Athener Aktienmarkt war vergangene Woche eingebrochen, und auch die Risikoaufschläge bei griechischen Staatsanleihen stiegen deutlich an.

Er fühle sich dem Mandat der griechischen Bevölkerung verpflichtet, die bisherige Sparpolitik durch eine Wachstumspolitik zu ersetzen, erklärte Tsipras weiter. Zugleich versicherte er aber, dass sein Land die Schulden an IWF und EZB zurückzahlen werde. Allerdings brauche Griechenland "Zeit zum Luftholen, um unser eigenes mittelfristiges Programm zur Erholung" von Wirtschaft und Finanzen aufzustellen.

What we also agreed to is that in dealing with the challenges that Greece faces, we cannot simply look to austerity as a strategy. It’s important that we have a plan for fiscal consolidation to manage the debt, but it’s also important that growth and jobs are our focus, because we know from history that those countries that are growing, those countries where employment is high and people are increasing their productivity and feel as if the economy is moving forward, those countries have an easier time reducing their debt burdens than countries that -- where people are feeling hopeless.

And I think Prime Minister Samaras is committed to taking the tough actions that are required, but also, understandably, wants to make sure that the Greek people see a light at the end of the tunnel. And what I expressed to him is that the United States wants to continue to be helpful and supportive in what will be a challenging process. But we’re confident that Greece can succeed. And the stakes are high for not only Greece, but also Europe and the world economy."
