Peć
Peć (Пећ) is a town and municipality in southern Serbia. The city is located in a strategic position on the Pećka Bistrica river, a tributary of the White Drin to the east of the Prokletije. The town became a major religious center of medieval Serbia under the Serbian Tsar Stefan Dušan, who made it the seat of the Serbian Orthodox Church in 1346. It retained this status until 1766, when the Patriarchate of Peć was abolished. Today, Peć holds the Patriarchate of Serbia.

Basketball is Serbia's 2nd most popular Sport after Football. The Boys plays this Sports mostly on the Streets and Sposrtfields in the whole Country. Serbia (earlier also Yugoslavia) is the most successful Nationalteam in Basketball with 5 Worldchampioship Goldmedals (even better than the USA in the statistics of World Cups), the last time 2002 in Indianapolis USA. There were always famous Serbian Basketplayers like Vlade Divac, Pedja Stojakovic, Dejan Bodiroga and a lot of more.....:cheers:
