Dog in paradise

View from the top of Old Mountain

When we were on Old Mountain (Eastern Serbia), one morning we decided to climb to highest point Midzor (2169 m).

Walk from the hotel to the top was 9 km long.

Morning was very beautiful. Clouds were bellow us…

Hotel’s dog was our companion - he had better condition then we do :-)

Downstream...(Western Serbia near Valjevo)

Donji Taor

Gornji and Donji Taor lie at the foothills of Povlen mountain. They are beautified by pristine nature, tranquility and a feeling of standstill. The hospitable villagers welcome visitors as their own relatives. The spring of rivulet Skrapez is in the village itself and farther downstream there are Taorska sources with 12 beautiful watermills. In the very water one can wash wool with hard-working local women, or learn some skills of ancient handicrafts, tradition and village culture.

From Danube (Belgrade)

We had gone out on one of the tour boats. This is view of Kalimagdan from where the Danuv and Sava rivers meet. I can imagine that in the old days when an invading army was preparing to attack this must have been a daunting place.
I sharpened, saturated some colors, resized with MS pictureIt and removed some noise with NeatImage.
Cheers
