What does it even mean to be far right in a western country nowadays

Mortimer

Geuner "Zigo" Hengst
Israel
A person from Afghanistan saying she is AfD
A german top commenter saying he is AfD and its good she is in Germany

I mean for me it makes no sense
To me it is a contradiction

We could ask the same for mullato vox in spain or tunisian jews far right in france

Any opinions

I am an AfD member and my family is from Afghanistan. I have never been reduced to my origin by people on the right — only by leftists and migrants.
Exactly the ones who constantly preach that origin shouldn't matter. 😂
Apparently, it does matter — but only when you don't fit into their worldview.

I am a convinced AfD voter and you're absolutely right — the left often reduces people to their background.
For us AfD voters, it doesn't matter where someone comes from. Anyone who lives, works, and loves this country is warmly welcome here.
And in that sense, we really don’t care where someone comes from.
The left just can’t grasp this because it doesn’t fit into their "AfD are Nazis and evil" narrative.
So I’m glad you exist and that you are a part of this wonderful country. 💙🇩🇪

Ah yes, being "far right" in 2025, where the unemployed guy living off welfare blames foreigners for his lack of a job, and the immigrant proudly joins a party that thinks she shouldn't be here in the first place.
Beautiful contradictions. Almost poetic.
Sometimes it’s a hardcore nationalist who genuinely believes their country, language, and "bloodline" are superior.
Other times it's just someone voting AfD because it makes them feel rebellious , like wearing a leather jacket, but racist.
And then there are the real thinkers: people who say "we don’t care where you come from" while voting for a party whose entire campaign is about exactly that.
So yeah, "far right" means many things nowadays.
But mostly, it just means loud, confused, and weirdly proud of being wrong.

Was für ein Dreck, diese angebliche afghanische Person und dieser Thilo sind dämlich und weltfremd. Wobei ich die Echtheit der afghanischen Person in Frage stelle.
