Turkey has sent 10 tonnes of relief equipment to Bosnia-Herzegovina for victims of flood disaster that hit the country last month, the state-run Anadolu Agency says.
Prime Ministry's Disaster and Emergency Situations Management Department released a statement on Wednesday and said Foreign Ministry of Bosnia-Herzegovina asked for humanitarian relief from Turkey for the victims of flood caused by excessive precipitation in Bosnia.
The statement said Turkish Foreign Ministry, General Staff and Red Crescent worked in coordination and sent the aid to Sarajevo.
Aid materials include food packs and beds.
Floods in Bosnia displaced thousands last month as they washed away homes, crops and bridges.
No casualties have been reported so far but material damage is significant.
