UTS-15 Tactical Shotgun

The UTS-15 tactical shotgun is a 12 ga. pump action shotgun with two 7-round alternately feeding or selectable magazine tubes, that measuring 28.3” in overall length with a 18.5” barrel chambers for 2 3/4” and 3” magnum ammunition. Constructed primarily of fiber reinforced injection molded polymer the UTS-15 weighs only 6.9 lbs, for quick pointing and easy handling. The top mounted picatinny rail allows for the mounting of a wide variety of both iron and optical sights, which coupled with Beretta style barrel threading for choke tubes allows the UTS-15 to adapt to any situation (sights and choke tube pictured not included).

UTAS Army Company

 UTAS is a Turkish company specializing in firearms design, engineering and OEM manufacturing. Arguably, UTAS is one of the top sporting firearms design companies with their designs being voted “Gun of the Year” by the NRA’s American Rifleman Magazine in 2006 and again in 2007. Although UTAS continues to win awards for beautiful designs, the heart of the company is innovation.

Innovative mechanical design, innovative manufacturing processes and innovative materials used in firearms production, define UTAS and set the company apart from other’s in the firearms industry. Along with numerous patented design innovations, the new UTS-15 military and police combat shotgun recently developed by UTAS will be the first shotgun every produced with a receiver produced 100% from polymer. In the UTAS design studio the firearms design team works with a 3-D CAD / CAM computer engineering program to bring a firearms concept to virtual reality. Once individual parts have been fully conceptualized within the computer program, UTAS engineers evaluate the part and recommend the manufacturing process and material. Consequently, all firearms are developed in a team approach that integrates design, engineering and manufacturing to produce the best gun for its intended use. Born from this team approach to manufacturing, the UTS-15 is a unique pump-action shotgun of only 29” overall length for quick pointing functionality in the woods or for protection at home, and with a 15 round capacity and dual selectable magazines provides the opportunity to instantly pick the load to best fit the situation. A optional built-in LED spotlight and laser night-sight provides point-and-shot capability, while fiber reinforced polymer construction ensures the UTS-15 will keep working no matter how rough the situation. Whether in the field or in the home there’s nothing faster than the UTS-15.

Hollywood will use the Turkish gun!

The world's first and only 14+1 round-machine gun producer Utaş Makina is becoming supplier of Hollywood film industry.

According to the agreement between Utaş and Hollywood, UTS-15's will be used in action movies,
UTS-15 is a result of 4-year hard working development phase, first shown in populer sci-fi series
Fringe in US and Canada. ( Season 4 Episode 19 - episode is about the year 2036 means How UTS-15 futuristic and unique design

The weapon also will be used in a movie by Universal Pictures coming soon in theatres starring by Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington newspaper reports. Utaş sent 8 UTS-15 for the movie.

"Film industry doesnt able to take of them in high numbers but its a great oppurtunity for promotion and advertisement" said General Dir. of Utaş Makina Abdullah Güzeldere.

"Beside US, we are exporting to 25 countries including Germany, UK, Canada. Also expecting a 25.000 sales in American market. First shipment was made last week, we got permission to produce in this country, soon we will give them to the FBI and Police. We sell them to Government of Kuwait and trying to enter Ukrainien and Russian markets." He added.

Türksat Genel Müdürü Özkan Dalbay yaptığı açıklamada, uydu üreten ve fazla sayıda uydusu olan ülkelerin uzaydaki varlıklarının daha da güçleneceğini belirterek, Türkiye'nin, 2015 itibariyle fazla sayıda uydusu olan ve uydu üreten ülkeler safına gireceğini ve değişen kuralların Türkiye'nin lehine işleyeceğini söyledi.
Türksat'ın mevcut yörünge haklarıyla ilgili bir sorun olmadığını belirten Dalbay, ''Kendi uydularımız var, diğerlerini de kiralıyoruz. Kendi atacağımız uydulara kadar haklarımızı elimizde tutuyoruz'' diye konuştu.
Dalbay, Japonya'da üretimi devam eden Türksat 4A ve 4B uydularıyla ilgili takvimde sapma olmadığını ifade ederek, ''4A 2013'ün Kasımında, 4B de 2014'ün Şubatında uzaya çıkmış olacak. 4A'yı 42 dereceye, 4B'yi 50 dereceye koyacağız'' dedi.
