Hat man eig. verlässliche und präzise Zahlen zur Wirtschaft speziell und ausschliesslich über Pristina? Vorallem die Zukunftsaussichten würden mich interessieren. Spürbar aufwärts (und damit meine ich nicht zwei neue Strassen und einen neuen Brunnen) gehts nur in wenigen Städten im Kosovo, hab ich das Gefühl.

Besa Group HQ
Besa Group HQ and apartments tower, designed by the young local architects of archlab, is an under construction project planned to be finished with the end of this year.
Situated in Prishtina, in Kalabria district, this ten storey (G+9) building is a mixed-use building which will house Besa Group HQ offices and residential apartments on the above floors. The area where the building is situated borders Dardania, a highly inhabited district in Prishtina, where the tangent street to the block “Lidhja e Pejës” plays a strategic importance by connecting two different areas of the city. On the other hand, the block targeted by the project is dense, comprising mostly of residential buildings and apartments which have been built recently.
The building consists of two volumes which houses two different functions: the ground floor and three floors are dedicated to the offices, whereas six other floors are used for apartments which provide unique views to the city of Prishtina. Offices that face the main road, are made of transparent glass merging the inner space into the surrounding. Inside the building, offices are spacious with a high ceiling and full of daylight. Majority of floors feature apartmenta. Floors consist of two apartments and the layouts of apartments are the same which include: living area with kitchen, three bedroom, bathrooms, toilet and depot.
As with most buildings built in Kosovo, the structure of Besa Group HQ is of reinforced concrete which is based on system of slabs with load-bearing pillars, and a central concrete core containing the lift. -

The former Yugoslavia’s third busiest airport, Pristina, has continued to see impressive passenger numbers this year. Following outstanding growth in the first quarter, amounting to 19%, Pristina has continued to post solid figures in the second quarter as well. The airport handled 141.000 passengers in June alone, an increase of 7% compared to the same month last year. The number of aircraft operations increased by 3%. In the first half of 2013, Pristina Airport welcomed 756.045 passengers through its doors, an overall increase of 13.5%. Growth in the second quarter amounted to 11.6%. Last year the airport handled a total of 1.527.134 passengers.
Construction of Priština Airport’s brand new terminal is continuing to progress. The outer structures of the passenger terminal and the new control tower have now been completed with work continuing inside the new buildings. While the exact date of completion is unknown, the terminal is set to be opened by the end of this year. The new terminal stretches over 45.000 square metres with the building featuring three air bridges. Furthermore, a new apron and car park with the ability to serve 1.750 vehicles are also under construction.
