Cornerstone-laying ceremony for Prilep 1 industrial zone

Prilep, 20 March 2013 (MIA) - Vice-Premier and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski laid Wednesday a cornerstone for construction of Technical-Industrial Development Zone (TIDZ) Prilep 1.

The municipality of Prilep have already sold all 21 parcels of a total of 50.000 sq.m. of this zone at e-auction.


Opening of new jobs and construction of plants by domestic investors are the Government's priorities, Stavreski said at the ceremony.


"The Government has met businessmen demands - lowest possible land price and elimination of administrative barriers," Stavreski said.


Domestic investors are the blood stream of the economy as they create new jobs. The Government respects all of those who invest in these hard time, he added.

Prilep bekommt zum ersten mal öffentlichen Stadtverkehr.

За прв пат во општина Прилеп ќе започне да сообраќа организиран градски превоз кој ќе ја покрива територијата на градот и населените места.

Со донесувањето на статутот, правилникот и програмата за работа и развој, на вчерашната седница на Советот на општина Прилеп се изгласаа активностите за формирањето на јавното сообраќајно претпријатие, со што на средината на месец октомври ќе профункционира градскиот превоз во Прилеп.
Локалната самоуправа набави пет модерни автобуси кои ќе се движат по планираната траса, а воедно предвидено е и опремување на постојките на кои ќе има електронски табли за информации на корисниците.

Градоначалникот Ристески посочи дека за отпочнување на градскиот превоз Општината од својот Буџет издвои повеќе од 6. 000 000 денари, кои ќе бидат употребени наменски, а за доопремувањето и одржувањето кое ќе следи тековно ќе биде обезбедени и дополнителни средства.
Во зависност од потребите на овој проект Општината ќе инвестира и други додатни инвестиции кои етапно ќе бидат предвидени. Се очекува овој градски превоз во голема мера да ја олесни комуникација на граѓаните и воедно да им овозможи на сите старосни категории поедноставно и поекономично решение.

A delegation from the Chinese city Dejang visits Prilep

In Prilep today resides a delegation from the Chinese city of Dejang Province Cheng Du .

City – economic delegation, as announced by the local government in Prilep, this morning will visit Prilep tobacco, cigarette factory, and then will meet with the Mayor Marjan Ristevski.
This is a return visit after a few months Prilep municipality business delegation paid a visit to the city Dejang. The aim is to establish mutual cooperation, especially in economy, culture and city level
