Croatia to lift visa's for Albanians over the summer period

Prime Minister Sali Berisha received on Friday the Croatian ambassador to Albania H.E. Darko Javorski. During this meeting the Croatian ambassador made Prime Minister Sali Berisha aware of the decision of the government of Croatia to lift visas for Albanian citizens over July 1-October 31, 2010 period like an expression of the close relations of partnership and friendship that exist between the two countries which became together NATO members and have already built a wide range of brilliant cooperation in all the fields to the mutual benefit of the two peoples.
This decision is in the wake of the excellent results the government of Albania has achieved in fulfillment of criteria for visa liberalization with the EU, something which has brought the border control and security of documents in Albania be in the highest standards in Europe”, and we expect that soon the Albanians get the good news of visa-free travel over the EU”, said the Croatian ambassador Javorski.
PM Berisha thanked the Croatian ambassador for the happy news he gives to the Albanians and asked him to convey to the PM of Croatia Kosor thanks and most cordial greetings. This decision is an important contribution to the further consolidation of the brilliant relations between the two countries and a worthy assistance for the free movement of the Albanians in the region.
