National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances (AKKVP - Tirana - Albania), was created as a professional ensemble in 1957. This ensemble consists of soloists, dance groups, and complex vocal Orchestra. Costumes are probably the greatest asset of this ensemble, not only from its originality, but also by the variety of colors, are estimated as rare values of traditional culture of a nation. In lifeduring nearly half-century, the ensemble has his repertoire of over 100 new dances, and music motifs from all regions, with diversethemes, with outstanding choreography, where many of thementered the fund gold, not only the ensemble, but also the culture in general. Today, the National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances is composed of the best artists of dance, song, vocals,choreographers, musicians.
The National Song and Dance Ensemble "Shota" was established in 1948 as one of the first artistic and cultural institutions in Kosovo. For fifteen years this ensemble has operated as society and afterwards as a semi-professional ensemble.
