He assesses that many will remember 2011 as the year when the legalization process was launched.
"The process will continue next year, including law amendments for the purpose of legalizing more buildings and perceived ambiguities. Our primary goal was to attract more people to apply, now is the time to simplify procedures for faster implementation", says Janakieski.
He says cooperation with NATO resumes, with EUR 8,6 million already available for reconstruction of bridges at road section Skopje-Veles.
According to Janakieski, the biggest project in 2011 was the modernization and reconstruction of Macedonia's two airports.
"I had several objectives when assuming the post, including a third mobile operator, airports, the railroad to Bulgaria, Corridor 10. Two have been achieved, the third is in the final stage and we are expecting the start of construction soon. EBRD is providing assistance, IPA funds will be available for both Corridor 8 and 10", says the Transport Minister.
Janakieski also refers to the procedure of harmonizing the national legislation with EU's Audiovisual Media Services Directive.
"Our main goal is to implement European law in this field while observing the principle of free journalism", he adds.
Pertaining to speculation about his ambassadorial appointment, Minister Janakieski emphasizes he will perform the current post with commitment as long as he heads the institution.
