Quatsch! Makedonski, Vardarius, Clkinski, Blade und alle anderen aus deinem Land sind natürlich Makedonen, aus der Republik Makedonien. Nur DU bist (wahlweise) Bulgare, Serbe, Zigano, Südslawe aus dem 6. Jh. oder sonst irgend eine andere obskure Ethnie aus FYROM, je nachdem was sich aus dem Kontext der Diskussion gerade ergibt. Warum? Damit du dich schön aufregst.

Na klar. Und dadie Griechen damals bereits wussten, dass sich ein Großteil der Slawen aus besagten Vilayets ab den 90ern Jahren als legitime Nachfahren der antiken Makedonen sahen, bezeichneten sie sie damals schon vorsorglich als Bulgaren.

Wie gesagt. Der Großteil der slawischen Bevölkerung in den betroffenen Vilayets wurden damals als Bulgaren bezeichnet, was in diesem Buch als selbstverständlich genommen wurde.
Die Nationbildung fand erst Jahrzehnte später statt.
