Giannis Antetokounmpo Sues Sports Company For $2 Million Over 'Greek Freak'

Giannis Antetokounmpo has had enough of people profiting off his years of hard work and has slapped a company with a federal lawsuit seeking millions in damages.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the NBA star is suing a company named Sportz Cases, LLC. He accuses the company of infringing on his copyright for his nickname “Greek Freak.”

The NBA star explains “Greek Freak” is his widely known nickname, which he obtained various trademarks to be able to sell merchandise. He says he has spent a substantial amount of time, money and resources to develop, promote and advertise his Greek Freak-branded products.
