Οι νέες συμβάσεις επεκτείνουν την πολυετή και επιτυχημένη συμμετοχή της IDE σε προγράμματα παγκόσμιας εμβέλειας, ενώ αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι η IDE εξήγαγε προϊόντα υψηλής αμυντικής τεχνολογίας στις ΗΠΑ για το έτος 2013 τα οποία αντιστοιχούν περίπου στο 5% του συνόλου των ελληνικών εξαγωγών προς τις ΗΠΑ.

Συνεχίζοντας την μακρά και επιτυχημένη συμμετοχή της στα προγράμματα των αντιπυραυλικών συστημάτων PATRIOT και εγγύς υποστήριξης PHALANX, η IDE (INTRACOM Defense Electronics) υπέγραψε δυο νέες εξαγωγικές συμβάσεις στις ΗΠΑ ύψους 3 εκατ. δολαρίων.
Η μια αφορά ηλεκτρονικά υποσυστήματα των PATRIOT με αποδέκτη τον Στρατό των ΗΠΑ και θα ολοκληρωθεί σταδιακά μέχρι τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2015.
Η δεύτερη συμφωνία αφορά την παραγωγή ηλεκτρονικών μονάδων του PHALANX με την εταιρία RAYTHEON, θα ολοκληρωθεί τον Μάρτιο του 2016 και θα καλύψει απαιτήσεις της παγκόσμιας αγοράς.

HAF Celebrating 100 years: getting ready for the show


In the framework of HAF’s Patron Saint Celebration and the “100 Years Αιέν Υψικρατείν» (i.e. “Always dominate the skies” the official motto of the HAF) an air show will be held on Sunday morning at the Tanagra air base.

Ενίσχυση του Ελληνικού Στρατού με 460 τεθωρακισμένα οχήματα από τα αμερικανικά αποθέματα (ΑΝΑΝΕΩΣΗ)


Στις εγκαταστάσεις του ΟΛΠ στο Κερατσίνι εκφορτώθηκαν μεταξύ 6-8 Νοεμβρίου τα 196 από τα συνολικά 460 μεταχειρισμένα Τεθωρακισμένα Οχήματα Μεταφοράς Προσωπικού (ΤΟΜΠ) Μ113 και ειδικών εκδόσεων που παραχωρήθηκαν δωρεάν από τα απόθεματα του Αμερικανικού Στρατού ως πλεονάζοντα αμυντικά υλικά. Το πλοίο που μετέφερε τις παρτίδες των τεθωρακισμένων οχημάτων από τις ΗΠΑ απέπλευσε στη συνέχεια από τον Πειραιά με κατεύθυνση τον λιμένα Θεσσαλονίκης, όπου αποβίβασε τα υπόλοιπα 264, μεταξύ άλλων και τεθωρακισμένα οχήματα δημιουργίας προπετάσματος καπνού Μ1059, τα οποία είναι τροποποιημένα Μ113Α2 με σύστημα δημιουργίας καπνού M157Α2. Με βάση τη μέχρι σήμερα ανεπίσημη ενημέρωση, επρόκειτο να παραδοθούν 225 ΤΟΜΠ M113A2, 128 τεθωρακισμένα οχήματα Μ577Α2, 106 Βελτιωμένα Οχήματα TOW (ITV) Μ901Α2 καθώς και ένα Τεθωρακισμένο Όχημα Μεταφοράς Όλμου (ΤΟΜΟ) Μ106Α2 των 107mm. Το συγκεκριμένο Μ106 είναι το τελευταίο όχημα του τύπου σε λειτουργική κατάσταση στις ΗΠΑ και παραχωρείται στον Ελληνικό Στρατό, ο οποίος γίνεται πλέον ο μεγαλύτερος χρήστης με 257 οχήματα σε υπηρεσία.

SPICE Bomben für Griechenland

ΜΕΤΑΤΡΕΠΟΥΝ ΤΙΣ ΑΠΛΕΣ ΒΟΜΒΕΣ ΣΕ STAND OFF ΟΠΛΑ ΑΚΤΙΝΑΣ 60 ΧΛΜ.!

Μια ύψιστης σημασίας εξέλιξη είχαμε τις τελευταίες ημέρες με την ολοκλήρωση της διαδικασίας (η οποία διαρκεί σχεδόν πέντε χρόνια!) προμήθειας ενός στρατηγικής σημασίας όπλου, των συλλογών αεροπορικών βομβών SPICE 1000 & 2000 και την έναρξη συμβασιοποίησης της προμήθειας η οποία έχει εγκριθεί από το ΚΥΣΕΑ και από την αρμόδια επιτροπή της Βουλής από το … 2011! Αυτό αναφέρουν στο defencenet.gr υψηλά ιστάμενες πηγές του ΓΕΑ.

Οι συλλογές είναι ανάπτυξης και κατασκευής της ισραηλινής εταιρείας Rafael και η αρχική απόφαση αφορούσε συνολικά 400 κιτ αξίας 110 εκατ. ευρώ περίπου (κάπου εκεί θα κινηθεί και η τελική σύμβαση,

Γιατί είναι εξαιρετικά σημαντικό όπλο οι συλλογές των SPICE: Γιατί μετατρέπουν τις “απλές” αεροπορικές βόμβες LGB, σε κατευθυνόμενα stand-off όπλα ακτίνας μέχρι 60 χλμ. “γεφυρώνοντας” το χάσμα μεταξύ των απλών LGB βομβών Μk 83 & Mk84 και των υποστρατηγικών πυραύλων μακρού βεληνεκούς cruise των 500+ χλμ. στην Πολεμική Αεροπορία.

Τα αμερικανικά όπλα JDAM και JSOW τα οποία εξοπλίζουν την ενισχυμένη Μοίρα των F-16 Adv. στον Αραξο είναι πολύτιμα, πολύ ακριβά και λίγα για να αρέσουν να καλύψουν την ανάγκη μιας σύγκρουσης έστω 72 ωρών υψηλής έντασης.

Οι 400 συλλογές SPICE που θα αγοραστούν για ισάριθμες βόμβες Mk83 (1000 λιβρών), ή Mk84 (2000 λιβρών), θα επιτρέπουν στα αεροσκάφη της ΠΑ να πλήττουν στόχους σε αποστάσεις μέχρι και 60 χλμ με ακρίβεια 1-3 μέτρα χάρις στους αισθητήρες CCD/IIR που οι συλλογές διαθέτουν.

Spice Bomben
Das besondere gegenüber dem amerikanischen JDAM-Kit ist, dass die Spice über zwei Zielsysteme verfügt. Als Primärsystem wird ein CCD/IIR Suchkopf und als Sekundärsystem GPS genutzt, weiterhin ist sie gegen Störmaßnahmen immun. Des Weiteren kann noch nach dem Abwurf der Spice das Ziel geändert werden und das bei einer Reichweite von über 60 km, abhängig von Flughöhe und Geschwindigkeit des Trägerflugzeuges.
