Laut Informationen verswchieder Zeitungen soll bis zum 15 Juli 2006 das Militärbudget abgesegnet werden. Laut den Angaben soll es

22.064,11 Millionen Euro betragen

Davon sollen an
das Verteidigungsministerium 628,66 Mio bekommen
Die Landstreitkräfte 8.148,76 Mio € bekommen
Die Marine 6.016,68 Mio € bekommen
Die Luftwaffe 7.269,81 € Mio bekommen

Auf der Liste befinden sich:
Priorität 1:
Satelliten Komunikationssystem für die Armee 161 Mio Euro
20 Transporthubschrauber der neueren Generation
6 Neu Fregatten für 2.200 Mio Euro
Die verlorenen Flugzeuge im Bestand (2 Generation) aufzufüllen 2.810 Mio Euro

Priorität 2:
84 Gepanzerte Fahrzeuge TOMA 430 Mio
5 Flugzeuge für die Marine Unterstützung 807 Mio Euro
Zusammenarbeit mit BOC-Helios 120 Mio Euro

Die Priorität Liste ist noch nicht abgesegnet da die Gr. Luftwaffe noch eine höhere Priorität haben will für ca.60 neuere Kampflugzeuge sowie die Modernisierung der jetzigen Luftwaffe. Derzeit sind das 264 Projekte die mit den Budget bezahlt werden sollen.

Der Betrag steht aber fest.

Soll eine Reaktion sein auf die Zusammenarbeit der Türkei im JSF Programm. Komisch, den die Türkei hat die noch nicht bestellt da es die noch nicht gibt. Mit dem Tarnkappenkampflugzeug rechnet man nicht in den nächsten 15 Jahren für die Türkei ...

Zum Vergleich soll die Türkei für den selben Zeitraum 2006-2015 30 Miliarden eingeplant haben ...

Da sieht man das unsere Politiker der EU, NATO, UN nicht vertrauen. Und die Gr.Regierung doch einen Zweifel hat was den Beitrit der Türkei in die EU betrift ...

NAVAL WEEK 2006 - President inspects the fleet

President Karolos Papoulias inspects ships in framework of Navy Week

ATHENS, 29/6/2006
President Karolos Papoulias inspected ships of the fleet at sea on Wednesday in the framework of Navy Week celebrations.

President Papoulias arrived on the frigate "Limnos" by helicopter at 11.20 a.m. where he was welcomed by Deputy Defense Minister Ioannis Lambropoulos and the Navy's leadership, headed by Navy General Staff chief vice admiral Dimitrios Gousis.

A total of 41 vessels were inspected, including six frigates, six submarines, nine missile boats, seven gunboats, three troop carriers, two mine detectors, five minesweepers and three support ships.

The warships were lined up in two rows off the coast of Faliron and paid respects to President Papoulias as the fleet's flagship sailed by.

At the same time, five Shikorski helicopters flew over the frigate, as well as a P-3 Orion naval cooperation aircraft.

At the end of the inspection, the Navy General Staff chief gave President Papoulias a commemorative plaque bearing the emblems of the Navy General Staff, the Fleet Headquarters and of Navy Administrations.

The warships are due to sail for the islands of the Aegean and the Ionian on Wednesday night, where the public will be able to visit them as of Thursday and until July 1 in the framework of Navy Week.
