Historical record of export of Macedonian wine
Macedonia is breaking records in wine exports to foreign markets. Portal Leader came to the latest data from the Ministry of Agriculture showing that in 2013 has the largest wine export up until now – 885.331 hectoliters worth 50 million euro. If we compare the average for the period 2007 to 2012, exports last year is increased by 48 % in quantity and 24 % in value.
According to experts in the wine sector, Macedonia becomes recognizable wine brand with good quality at the foreign markets and unlike in the past, when mostly was exported bulk wine with much lower value, now is exported bottled wine with quality far better than the past. Analysis of the ministry, show that wine exports to the EU is increased by 45 %, while the average price is increased by 10 euro per hectoliters compared to last year.
“I am glad that it is accomplished the primary goal of all programs and measures of the Government and the Ministry of Agriculture for better promotion and recognition of Macedonian wine. As a result, thereof in the last few years, we have noticed the most significant increase in exports of bottled wine, wherein the amount of bottled wine exported in 2005 of more than 5.5 million liters is tripled and reaches the amount of 17 million liters. The increase in exports of bottled wine is particularly noticeable in countries that were targeted in joint appearance of Macedonian wineries at the fairs funded and supported by Ministry of agriculture and government – Germany, Russia, and China, said for Leader from the Ministry of Agriculture.
Exports of bottled wine in these countries has seen significant growth i.e. in Germany (3 times more in quantity and 2.8 times more in value), China ( 4.4 times in quantity and 3.8 times in value) and Russia 3.7 times in quantity and 2.7 times in value), according to preliminary results.
Apart from record exports, wine is sold with higher price
Besides the record amount and value, wine from Macedonia achieved the highest price per unit product for the last 10 years for the total export of wine (bottled and bulk) of 56.32 euro per hectoliter. Looking at certain countries is Germany is increased 5 times the amount of exported wine in bottles and 4 times in value. In Slovenia, it has increased 4 times the amount of exported wine in bottles and 3 times in value, in Hungary is increased for 4 times increased the quantity and total value of exported wine. In Romania is increased 2.5 times and the quantity and value of exported wine in bottles. In Slovakia for 3 times are increased quantities of exported wine and 3.5 times in value. China has doubled the amount of total wine exported, and 3.6 times its value, and at the exported wine in bottles is noted significant increase of 10 times in volume and 8 times in value. In Russia is increased by 60 % the amount of total exported wine and has doubled its value, while in Canada is doubled the wine export in quantity and value and in the United States we have tripled increase in exports of bottled wine and in quantity and value.

The Macedonian National Association of Wineries (MNAW) established Monday in Skopje by 35 winerie across the country.
Winemaking, viticulture development, better promotion of Macedonian wines on market, increase in domestic consumption and export, promoting better relations among stakeholders as well as the development of wine culture in Macedonia are the key objectives of MNAW, according to MIA, the Macedonian News Agency.
Efforts would be made to strengthen the image of Macedonia as a country of wine, said Macedonian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry.
The consulting experts agree the subsidies paid to wine producers played a major role in maintaining and increasing their production, securing increased incomes to the producers.
In 2013, Macedonia exported record 885,331 hectoliters of wine, worth 50 million euros (69 million U.S. dollars).

Во најновата популарна хроника на Шведското радио, посветена на нови производи во шведската продажна мрежа на алкохолни пијалоци "Системболагет" се изразува задоволство поради "грчкото будење"
Се вели будење, зашто последниве години се помалку грчки вина се продаваат во Шведска, а новото грчко вино, лансирано деновиве, доби добри оценки од шведските рецензенти. Станува збор за сортата црвено вино "Рамниста 2009" кое, како што се вели во освртот на Шведското радио, доаѓа од Науса во Македонија.
Шведскиот рецензент веројатно не ги побркал државите, односно во својата фантазија не го сместил градот Науса на грчкиот остров Парос во Македонија. Имено, во рекламниот каталог на шведскиот државен монопол "Системболагет", "Рамниста" е презентирана како вино од Грција, со географско потекло од грчкиот регион Македонија.
Република Македонија и македонски вина во споменатиот каталог и во шведската продажна мрежа на државниот монопол "Системболагет", еден од најсофистицираните во Европа, ги нема на рафтовите подолго од една деценија.
Последен пат кога македонските вина се продаваа во Шведска, и тоа со мошне добар успех меѓу консументите и со солидни оценки во медиумите, беше во 1990-ите години. Тоа беа неколку сортни вина директно увезувани од визбата "Повардарие", како и уште неколку со посредство на словенечки и унгарски извозни фирми.
Во последниве години се правени неколку обиди за презентација на македонски вина во Шведска, главно потпомогнати од страна на шведски трговски организации и комори при банките за поддршка на увозот, но резултатите, за жал, и понатаму не се видливи и охрабрувачки.
Проблемите и тешкотиите главно се сведуваат на експортните цени, сигурноста и квантитетите на испораките и неподготвеноста на македонските винарии и извозници да учествуваа во поинтензивни маркетиншки активности насочени кон рестораните и хотелите и кон шведската претприемничка увозна мрежа врз која се потпира грото од набавките во Системболагет".
Моментно во Шведска се продава само грчко вино од "Македонија". Сепак, по некое шише македонско вино може да се нарача во "Системболагет", кое не е изложено во редовниот асортиман од преку 300 сорти вина од целиот свет, туку како "невидливо" чека во магацинот на некој ситен увозник да биде откриено и нарачано од понекој "добро информиран" консумент
