Macedonia is dead and Serbia is next, says the Albanian historian and proponent of a Greater Albania, Koço Danaj in an interview for Serbian daily Kurir.
The leader of the list for natural Albania claims that the protests in Skopje did not occurred because of the dissatisfaction with the domestic judiciary but to create a new Albanian state which will occupy most of Macedonia and half of southern Serbia. Danaj supports that with the fact that the main decor during the protests is Macedonia is exactly the map of Greater Albania.
In the interview for Kurir he calls on the Albanians to unite and to clean the territories where only the Albanians will live. According to him, the Albanians in Macedonia are feeling like second-class people, although they were 35 percent of the total population.
"Albanians rose against the chauvinism of the Macedonian government. During the protest they clashed with police that was heavily armed. But protests in Macedonia must continue. Step by step this area must be cleaned and free of all religious and national differences and the rebellion should be transformed into a general movement in order to have ultimate unification with Albania, "emphasized Danaj.
According to Danaj, Macedonia escaped breaking up in 2001 only because the Albanians signed the Ohrid Agreement that was never really accepted.
"The Agreement has long been dead and buried and together with the agreement, Macedonia as a country is also dead," says Danaj.
The Albanian historian believes that all Albanians support his idea. The borders of natural Albania should encompass the territories of Albania and Kosovo, half of Macedonia, part of southern Serbia with a border near Nis, several municipalities in Montenegro and in the Greece’s region of Chameria.
Danaj also threatened all the neighbors of the new state, warning them that they will have to accept it as such if they want to preserve peace in the region.
