We are writing to you from Brisbane, Queensland seeking your assistance and the assistance of the Brothers and Sisters in your community.
We are a Quraan Academy that has been operating in Slacks Creek, South Brisbane. We offer Madrasah for adults, children and a full-time Hafidth school with 35 students.
AlHamdulillah, Allah Subhanahu Wa Taa'la has presented us with an amazing opportunity to establish ourselves in a permanent place. An existing Church has come up for sale and we have an opportunity to convert this into a Mosque.
This Church has been valued at over AUD $3.5Million. However, in this blessed Month of Ramadan, our offer of AUD $2.1Million has been accepted and we are under contract to complete the purchase in just 11 Months.
This Church is just 6 years old and has many excellent features including:
Enough space to accommodate 1500 Musallees;
300+ Car parking spaces;
10 Classrooms; and
A food bank which caters for the under privileged and needy.
With this, we would like to humbly request the opportunity to do a Jumua’h collection at your Masjid.
As you can appreciate, the total amount we have to collect is significant so any other assistance you can offer would be highly appreciated.
Our aim is to establish this Mosque in Slacks Creek for our Ummah and for the generations to come, Bi Idhnillah. From this mosque we plan to offer the following services for the Muslims in the local vicinity and around Brisbane.
Five time Salah including Jumua’h Salah
Funeral Services
Quraan classes and after school Madrasah
Full-time Haafith school with an option for on-site boarding
Islamic courses for young and old
A full-time A'alim course which will be taught by our qualified Imams and Scholars
Food bank service for the under privileged and needy in the name of Islam

In Bosnien könnte man so Millionen sparen und man hätte ne menge Land für anders zur verfügung

Weiß ich nicht. Habe nur letztes Jahr gesehen als ich durch Mostar fuhr das eine große Kirche in Mostar gebaut wird. War halt auch aus geschildert das es eine orthodoxe ist. Haben die wirklich so eine große Kirche zerstört?
