Mokra Gora, meaning the Wet Mountain in English, is a village in Serbia on the northern slopes of mountain Zlatibor, that is turning into a very popular tourist center due to its unique attractions.
Mokra Gora has become popular after a reconstruction of a narrow gauge railway called Sargan Eight which is unique in the world due to its lane that, viewed from the sky, looks like number 8. A famous Serbian film director Emir Kusturica has also made contribution to development of tourism in Mokra Gora, by building an ethno village Mecavnik, called also Drvengrad (Timber Town).
If you are there, visit also Zlatibor and Tara mountains, as well as Visegrad with its famous "The bridge on the Drina".
