Maqedonia mendon të shfrytëzojë portin e Durrësit


Qeveria maqedonase mori vendimin për ndërtimin e një flote tregtare, megjithëse ky vend nuk ka dalje në det.


Ekspertët maqedonas po analizojnë mundësitë e shfrytëzimit të portit të Durrësit për këtë qëllim, në mënyrë që transporti tregtar i Maqedonisë të riorientohet, nga Selaniku drejt Durrësit.

Sipas tyre, porti i Durrësit është më i favorshëm edhe se ai i Stambollit, për shkak të pozicionit gjeografik. Në të njëjtin mendim është edhe ministri i Ekonomisë së Maqedonisë, Fatmir Besimi, sipas të cilit, porti i Durrësit ofron edhe çmimet më të favorshme.

Gjithashtu, edhe lidhja e portit me korridorin tetë do ta lidhë Maqedoninë edhe me portet e tjera evropiane.

Greece-Albania: Bus attacked with molotov cocktail bomb


A bus, which traveled in the Athens-Saranda line, was attacked with a Molotov cocktail. This happened near 01:00 a.m. close to the 44th kilometer of the national road Antirio-Janine.

The bus with number-plate SR 58 92 B belonged to “Saranda Express” Agency and it was returning empty from the Greek capital.

After transporting Albanian emigrants to Athens, its destination was Saranda. Two young persons have attacked the bus with a Molotov cocktail, by causing considerable damages. Fortunately, the driver did not get hurt.

“Fortunately, we did not have passengers on board and the bus did not burn. We called the police, which immediately came for help. Then, we sent the bus to the police commissariat. After making all the necessary procedures, I took the bus,” said director of “Saranda Express Agency Kristo Loli.

Contacted through the phone, Albanian ambassador to Greece Dashnor Dervishi, who was informed about what happened, excludes the possibility of racist motifs.

According to Dervishi, the protagonists of this attack might be fans of AEK Athens, who were depressed because one day ago their squad had lost against Korfuz. The driver of the bus denies this fact and he said that the reason for this attack might have been the Albanian number-plate of the bus.

“Police verified this. The driver did not see any sings of football fans. He did not see anything of this kind,” said Loli.

The Greek Police have started investigation to uncover the true motifs of this story and to identify the responsible people for this attack.

Chinese delegation visits Albania


A delegation of the Chinese Communist Party has visited Tirana. In the meetings organized with Prime Minister Sali Berisha and President Bamir Topi, the Chinese officials talked about improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries.

Albania: Central bank’s monetary policy oriented towards stimulation of economy


The monetary policy of the Bank of Albania in the second quarter of this year continued to be orient ed towards the injection of the monetary stimulation in econ omy with the aim to fulfil the main objective of the bank which is the preservation of the stability of prices as well as preservation of the macroeconomic stability in the country, the local newspaper Albanian Daily News reported.

According to the lat est data published by the Bank of Albania on the mon etary policy report for the sec ond quarter of 2010, the "de cisions of the monetary policy in the period under study factorized the progress of the fiscal policy with the aim to make the given stimulation be ab sorbed in time and at the re quired amount by the private sector.

“Based on the index of the monetary conditions, it can be observed that the key interest rate stands at low his torical levels and the ex change rate continues to fol low undervaluation trends, even though at a slower pace compared to the previous year,” the Bank of Albania said in its report.

The same sources added that besides the lowering of the yields of treasury bills and interests of deposits in Alba nian currency Lek, interests for loans still do not show a clear decreasing trend. In gen eral, the first two categories reacted immediately towards the signals of the monetary policy. However, some indica tors suggest that the long-term investments risk premi ums are lower and the lend ing ability and readiness of the system is on the increase.

Albania: 300 million water supply system of interest to many foreign investors


Foreign investors are focusing their attention in the water supply system and management of water resources in Albania. Deputy Minister of Transport Edmond Haxhinasto said that the projects for the water supply system reach a total value of Euro 300 million.

“More than Euro 110 million is being used for the projects that are actually being realized in the water supply and irrigation system. At the beginning of next year, we will continue the processes for other tenders, which reach a double value. So, we are talking about more than Euro 220 million,” said Haxhinasto reports Alsat

Albania: Annual average inflation at 3.2% in Q2


The average annual inflation in the second quarter of 2010 was at 3.2 percent standing 0.2 percentage points above the objective of the central bank, the local newspaper Albanian Daily News reported.

The annual in flation of the consume pric es reached a level near the interval of the objective of the Bank of Albania which is 3%, in the second quarter of 2010 after the high rate observed in the first quarter.

“The low pressures from the domestic demand, the reduction of agricultural products' prices, and the relative stability of the exchange rate assisted the re duction of the inflation an nual rate. The monetary and economic analysis con firms that the inflation pres sures will be moderated in the conditions where the expectations of economic agents on the inflation stand near to the objective of the Bank of Albania,” the central bank said in its re port.

After reaching the highest value by 4.4% in February 2010, the annual inflation returned within the interval 2-4% in the following months. The slowdown of the inflation annual rate was mainly caused by the lower inflation pressures from the domestic demand, the re duction of agricultural products' prices, and the relative stability of the ex change rate.

Miratohet plani rregullues për qytetin e Shkodrës


Shkodra bëhet i pari qytet me planin e ri rregullues ndër gjashtë qytetet që përfituan nga një projekt i Bankës Botërore.


Këshilli Bashkiak i këtij qyteti miratoi me votat e të gjithë anëtarëve projektin, duke i çelur rrugën zbatimit të tij. Kryetari i Bashkisë, Lorenc Luka deklaron se me miratimin e planit rregullues i jepet fund ndërtimeve pa kriter dhe studimeve pjesore urbanistike në gjithë qytetin e Shkodrës.

Përparësi e planit janë potencialet e zhvillimit të qytetit në zonat urbane dhe shtrirja përballë Liqenit te Shkodrës, ruajtja dhe përmirësimi i qendrës historike, zhvillimi i zonave të spikatura kulturore e historike, përqendrimi në zgjerimin dhe modifikimin e korpusit universitar, mjediseve bashkëkohore, ku spikasin dy komplekse të reja, njëri në zonën e re në afërsi të liqenit të Shkodrës dhe tjetri në Zonën Industriale.

Përparësi marrin dhe zonat turistike të Shirokës dhe Zogajve në breg të liqenit të Shkodrës. Me mjaft interes pritet rikthimi i portit të dikurshëm, i projektuar aty ku ka qenë, në afërsi të urës së vjetër të Bunës. Zona e kodrave të Tepes, në periferi të qytetit, e njohur dikur si zonë rezidenciale, parashikohet të marrë zhvillim.

Sipas kryebashkiakut Luka, plani shoqërohet me një sërë normativash që lidhen me ndërtimet dhe gjelbërimin, deri në përcaktimin e gamës se ngjyrave të fasadave, të ndara këto sipas viteve te ndërtimit.

Luka pohon se plani ka si orientim ruajtjen e mjedisit dhe e konsideron fotografimin e bërë në kënde të ndryshme si një mundësi optimale për zbatimin e tij.

"Me këtë plan rregullues, Shkodra do të shkojë drejt një qendre urbane bashkëkohore evropiane, ku do të jenë të përcaktuara qartë të gjitha zhvillimet ekonomike, sociale dhe kulturore të domosdoshme për kryeqendren e veriut. Plani rregullues i qytetit të Shkodrës pritet të kalojë për miratim edhe në KRTRRSH.

Meta takohet me homologun guatemalas


Zëvendëskryeministri dhe ministri i Punëve të Jashtme, Ilir Meta u prit sot në Guatemala Siti nga ministri i Punëve të Jashtme të Guatemalës, Haroldo Rodas Melgar.


Gjatë qëndrimit në Guatemalë, në kuadër të turit në disa vende të Amerikës Qendrore, z. Meta u prit në një takim zyrtar nga ministri i Jashtëm i Guatemalës z. Haroldo Rodas Melgar.

Të dy bashkëbiseduesit vlerësuan lart rëndësinë e vizitës se zëvendëskryeministrit dhe ministrit te Punëve te Jashtme të Shqipërisë, si një moment tepër të rëndësishëm, pasi kjo është dhe vizita e parë e një zyrtari të lartë shqiptar në këtë vend dhe rajon.

Z. Meta e njohu homologun guatemalas me zhvillimet ne Shqipëri dhe rajon, veçanërisht me proceset integruese te anëtarësimit ne NATO dhe hapat drejt integrimit evropian. Gjithashtu, ai i shprehu rëndësinë që Shqipëria i kushton edhe zhvillimit te marrëdhënieve të mira dhe të bashkëpunimit me te gjitha vendet e botës dhe anëtare të Organizatës se Kombeve të Bashkuara, si një kontribut i rëndësishëm për paqen dhe rritjen reciproke te shkëmbimeve dhe njohjes.

Z. Meta dhe homologu i tij guatemalas ranë dakord që së shpejti të nënshkruhet një Protokoll Bashkëpunimi mes dy Ministrive te Punëve te Jashtme, të rrisin bashkëpunimin ne kuadër te organizatave ndërkombëtare dhe shkëmbimin e kandidaturave ne sistemin e OKB-se. Gjithashtu u ra dakord te punohet për një marrëveshje për heqjen e vizave për pasaportat diplomatike e te shërbimit, për një marrëveshje në fushën e ekonomisë dhe shkëmbimeve tregtare, si dhe për caktimin reciprok te konsujve te nderit ne te dy vendet.

Nga ana e tij, ministri i Jashtëm i Guatemalës vlerësoi rolin konstruktiv te politikës së jashtme të Shqipërisë dhe nivelin e ri të hapjes ndaj botës. Ai theksoi se mes Shqipërisë dhe institucioneve te përbashkëta te vendeve te Amerikës Qendrore mund te vendoset një nivel i ri bashkëpunimi me interes reciprok.

Ne përfundim, z. Meta e njohu homologun guatemalas edhe me zhvillimet e fundit në Kosove, pas shpalljes se Opinionit Këshillimor te Gjykatës Ndërkombëtare të Drejtësisë, e cila e cilësoi aktin e shpalljes se pavarësisë në përputhje me të drejtën ndërkombëtare dhe Rezolutën 1244 te Këshillit te Sigurimit. Ai kërkoi nga pala guatemalase te rivlerësojë qëndrimin e saj ne këtë drejtim, si një veprim qe do ti shërbente forcimit te paqes dhe stabilitetit ne rajonin e Ballkanit.

Kukës, miratohet ndërtimi i një HEC-i në Përbreg

Këshilli i Qarkut të Kukësit ka miratuar dje ndërtimin e një hidrocentrali me vlerë 13 milion euro.

HEC-i në fjalë do të ndërtohet mbi lumin e Përbregut dhe është një investim nga një grup investitorësh shqiptarë.

Për ndërtimin e këtij prodhuesi energjetik, do të punësohen mbi 500 punëtorë, çka do të jetë një ndihmesë e madhe edhe për banorët e varfër të zonës.

Por nga ana tjetër, vendimi i qeverisë së Kosovës për ngritjen e një hidrocentrali në Zhurë do të bënte që HEC-i i miratuar për tu ndërtuar të dilte jashtë funksionit. Kryetari i qarkut Shefqet Bruka e quajti projektin si mjaft pozitiv për ekonominë e zonës së Kukësit dhe shprehu kundërshtim për projektin e ngjashëm në territorin e Kosovës.

Zukünftig verstärkte Zusammenarbeit zwischen Österreich und Albanien im Agrarbereich - BILD

Zukünftig wird es zwischen Österreich und Albanien
eine intensivere Zusammenarbeit im Agrarbereich geben. Das ist der
Inhalt eines Abkommens, das Landwirtschaftsminister Niki Berlakovich
mit seinem albanischen Amtskollegen Genc Ruli unterzeichnet hat.
Schwerpunkte der künftigen Zusammenarbeit sind dabei die Bereiche
Biolandbau, Biomasse sowie Lebensmittel und eine Zusammenarbeit in
der Entwicklung des ländlichen Raums.
"Österreich ist in vielen Bereichen Vorbild. So sind wir zum
Beispiel mit Abstand das Bio-Land Nummer eins in Europa - ein
großartiger Erfolg, um den uns viele europäische Staaten beneiden.
Gerade osteuropäische Länder können aufgrund ähnlicher Strukturen
viel von Österreich lernen. Minister Ruli, der sich gerade auf einer
Study Tour in Österreich befindet, hat insbesondere Interesse an
touristischen Aktivitäten geäußert. Hier ist bei uns vor allem durch
die Initiative Genuss Region Österreich in den letzten Jahren viel
geschehen", so Berlakovich.
Seit Ende der 90iger Jahre sind österreichische Agrarexperten in
den heutigen neuen EU Mitgliedsländern tätig. Ab 2003 hat die
Agrarmarkt Austria im Auftrag des Lebensministeriums die Organisation
und Projektleitung von Twinning-Projekten im Agrarsektor übernommen.
Beinahe alle neuen Mitgliedsstaaten haben von österreichischem Wissen
im Bereich der Agrarverwaltung, im Aufbau von Zahlstellen sowie bei
der Einführung der Politik der ländlichen Entwicklung profitiert. In
der Zeit von 2003 bis 2008 wurden in diesen Ländern rund 30 Projekte
erfolgreich umgesetzt. Seit etwa 3 Jahren werden Projekte mit einer
Dauer bis zu zwei Jahren durchgeführt, da den anderen Ländern ein
breiterer Erfahrungsaustausch und Wissensstand übermittelt werden
kann.
