5 Mazedonier nahe Skopje ermordet aufgefunden |

Friedliche Proteste???

Eingeworfene Fensterscheiben, zerstörte Bushaltestellen, 6 verletzte Polizisten, ein verletzter Journalist...

Sag mal, in welcher Traumwelt lebst du?

Peter Stano - spokesperson of the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy, Stefan Fule - appealed protests in Macedonia to stop and Macedonian authorities to be enabled to solve the case involving the murder of five men in April, MIA's correspondent from Brussels reports.

At a regular press briefing on Monday, Stano was asked about the EC's comment on the frequent rallies in Macedonia for the support of suspected radical Islamic fundamentalists, to which he responded: "Protests are staged as a result of the thorough investigation by Macedonian authorities following the murder of five young fishermen. The European Commission has a clear position about these protests - we urge the protests to stop and the authorities in Macedonia to be left alone to complete the investigation, while those who have committed that grisly crime to be tried in accordance with country's laws," Fule's spokesperson stressed.

Stano was also asked about the protests in Bulgaria following the observance of Goce Delcev's death anniversary. Answering a guestion by a Bulgarian reporter on whether the EC was informed about the case when the ambassador of Bulgaria was prevented from laying flowers on the tomb of "a hero of the common history" of Macedonia and Bulgaria in Skopje by a "raging mob", spokesperson Stano urged Macedonian authorities to solve the case and the two countries to settle their differences involving history.
