PARIS, Dec 22, -- Marseilles is excited by a weird story of the arrival in
that port of a ship flying the British flag and named Zan carrying a
mysterious cargo of 400 tons of human bones consigned to manufacturers there.
The bones are said to have been loaded at Mudania on the Sea of Marmora and
to be the remains of the victims of massacres in Asia Minor. In view of the
rumors circulating it is expected that an inquiry will be instigated.

Οταν οι κεμαλιστές θησαύριζαν από λείψανα θυμάτων
Ετσι, οι κεμαλιστές διατηρούν το μοναδικό προνόμιο να είναι οι μόνοι που κατάφεραν να αξιοποιήσουν οικονομικά τα υπολείμματα των θυμάτων τους πουλώντας τα οστά τους για «βιομηχανική χρήση» στους δυτικούς τους φίλους.
Η πλέον γνωστή τέτοια πράξη έγινε τον Δεκέμβριο του 1924, όταν φορτώθηκαν από τα Μουδανιά, σε βρετανικό πλοίο-φορτηγό που έφερε το όνομα «Ζαν Μ.», τετρακόσιοι τόνοι ανθρώπινα λείψανα, που αντιστοιχούσαν σε 50.000 ανθρώπους, για να μεταφερθούν σε γαλλικές βιομηχανίες της Μασσαλίας. Οι ιθύνουσες γαλλικές ελίτ, πολιτικές και οικονομικές, που στήριξαν με κάθε τρόπο το κεμαλικό εγχείρημα δημιουργίας έθνους-κράτους καθαρού από τα «καρκινώματα» -όπως αποκαλούσαν οι Νεότουρκοι σύντροφοί του τους Ελληνες και τους Αρμένιους- δεν είχαν κανένα απολύτως ηθικό πρόβλημα να αγοράσουν τα οστά των θυμάτων για «βιομηχανική χρήση».
