Ugljevik



Ugljevik (Serbian Cyrillic: Угљевик) is a municipality and town of the same name in northern Republic of Srpska with a Population of 25'000. The municipality located in the eastern foothills of Mount Majevica. Ugljevik was named for the coal “ugalj in Serbian” which began to be organizely exploited on Mount Majevica in 1899.
