Kosovo’s President Remains Best Paid in Region

Kosovo’s President Fatmir Sejdiu remains the best paid president in the region.
Sejdiu earns €2,873 a month, beating the likes of Romanian President Trajan Basescu, who earns
€2,500, Albanian President Bamir Topi, who earns €2,100, and Serbian President Boris Tadic, who earns €1,900.

The news emerged as civil servant wages increased by 10 percent in Kosovo.

Even Kosovo’s Speaker of Parliament, Jakup Krasniqi, earns more than the majority of the region’s presidents, after his wage increased from €2,200 to €2,420 a month.

Members of Parliament now earn €1,078 a month, up from €980.

Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci, and his ministers also enjoyed generous increases. Thaci now brings in €1,442 a month, compared to €1312 euro previously, while ministers take home €1265, compared to €1150.

Fatmir Sejdiu's previous attempt to increase his monthly income to €3,100 were blocked after the media attacked the request.

er müsste das Geld für ja für seine Schulden ausgeben, bleibt trotzdem nicht viel übrig, ausserdem diese Organe kauft niemand von Serben, Leber-Zirrhose, kleines Herz, Schrottniere usw....

Οι Έλληνες;

Αλήθεια με τι αμείβεται ο πρωθυπουργός της χώρας και ο Πρόεδρος της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας; Ευθύς αμέσως τα στοιχεία μπροστά σας. Ο πρωθυπουργός Κώστας Καραμανλής που είναι εκλεγμένος από τον Μάρτιο του 2004 και επανεκλέγει τον περασμένο Σεπτέμβριο παραμένει ένας από τους πλουσιότερους Έλληνες πολιτικούς αφού οι συνολικές του αποδοχές άγγιξαν τα 110.000 ευρώ. Και ο πρόεδρος της Δημοκρατίας όμως δεν κερδίζει πολύ λιγότερα αφού οι αποδοχές του έφτασαν περίπου τα 75.000 ευρώ.
