Malolactic fermentation inside the barrel. The blend is allowed to age in French and American (10%) 225 lit oak barrels for 12 months.

Aus einer Gegend, die nicht zu den bekannten Weinbaugebieten Griechenlands gehört: Arnea auf der Halbinsel Chalkidiki, etwa 20 km nördlich des mittleren Fingers. In der Nase Kirschen und etwas Brombeere, am Gaumen auch schwarze Ribiseln und teerige Noten, gut eingebundenes, aber leicht adstringierendes Tannin. Das ist kein "crowd pleaser", sondern ein ganz eigenständiger Wein mit durchaus "schmutzigen" Noten. Für mich in der Kategorie "Persönlicher Lieblingswein" und für 9,95 unglaublich günstig. Im Bewusstsein meiner Subjektivität gebe ich eine Note, die sicher einige nicht teilen werden: 90.
