Greek media blame their Government for what they see as a success of Macedonian authorities “and their backers in Brussels”, after the European Union included the Macedonian language in the list of languages spoken in candidate countries.
Greek daily Paron reports about the publication of the new document for styles used to refer to member and candidate countries. The document, available at this web site - lists official languages in the candidate countries under their original names, and so the Macedonian language is listed as “македонски”. Greece, which is blocking the EU and NATO integration of Macedonia, objects to the use of the word Macedonian by the Republic of Macedonia, including to name the official language of Macedonia.
Daily Paron reminds Greek Prime Minister Andonis Samaras that, during an even to close the Greek Presidency of the European Union, he said that there is no Macedonian language, and that it was “invented by the Communists”. Yet, the papers sees this EU issued document as evidence that the Greek position is deteriorating in the EU, and is weakening before the next round of talks on the name issue between Macedonia and Greece.
“The Greek side, with its interventions, has prevented the attempts to introduce the Macedonian language in the past months. It is directly tied to the identity and is part of the issue of Macedonia”, Paron writes.
The daily also objects to the fact that this EU issued document lists the Macedonian currency – the denar – under the abbreviation MKD, which also indicates on the use of the word Macedonia. The Republic of Macedonia itself, in the document, is mentioned under the temporary reference “the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”.
Macedonia is expecting the latest European Commission progress report, that will say whether the country should open EU membership negotiations. The report gave a positive recommendation in the past five years, but Greece has always blocked the opening of the talks at the level of the European Council.

Die Griechen pflegen ihre diversen Sprachen und Dialekte, also werden sie auch ihre makedonische Sprache pflegen und sprechen, wie auch in den vorausgegangenen 2500 Jahren.
Hat jemand sonstige Komplexe und will was anderes behaupten?

Der Thread-Titel irritiert doppelt, da es ein Griechenland vs Makedonien NICHT gibt.
Jedem Schüler auf der ganzen Welt ist bekannt, dass Makedonien ein Teil Griechenlands ist.
Die Griechen pflegen ihre diversen Sprachen und Dialekte, also werden sie auch ihre makedonische Sprache pflegen und sprechen, wie auch in den vorausgegangenen 2500 Jahren.
Hat jemand sonstige Komplexe und will was anderes behaupten?

Wo ist eigentlich die Berufung der "Makedonischen Sprache" auf den "Donald-Duck-Dialekt " in den Zeichentrickfilmen ??
Also ich höre da ständig "Makedonische Elemente".

Ja, ja ... unser "Adlerhorst" Dejan, der sogar aus Wikipedia geflogen ist. Aber Hey, ist ja ne miese Verschwörung gegen unsere nördlichen Nachbarn ... haben sicherlich die Griechen eingeleitet, mit Bestechungsgelder aus der EU. Jetzt wissen wir ja wohin das ganze Geld fließt.
Auch interessant, dass unsere Miss Faulzahn ihre eigenen Quellen nicht liest. Mit dem Lesen hat sie es ja bekanntlich schwer, wie wir wissen. Aus ihrer "hochinteressanten" Quelle:
