Macedonian basketball Wunderkid Raises Eyebrows in Spain

Nenad Dimitrijevic ('98), the Macedonian tiny 5'6'' guard who has shined last months in at home and in international tournaments like the one held in Slovenj Gradec (Slovenia), was tested by Joventut Badalona this week during a U14 tournament in Hospitalet, a city close to Barcelona.
The Catalan team has decided to bring the prospect to study his upside.
Upside?
And what an upside Nenad has.
In the first match for Joventut, Nenad scored 31 points in only 20 minutes on the floor. His outing saw him shoot 11/14 for 2pts, 3/5 for 3pts, 7 assists, and added 11 stolen balls to his impressive stats.
Spanish scouts were stunned by his agile movements, ball control, court vision and frequent over the top sharp shooting skills.

FC Vardar goes to Winter Break as Leaders

Home wins for Vardar and Shkendija, Metalurg thumped Ohrid 6:0, slim road win for Renova, Teteks and Rabotnicki shared the points in a draw, while Napredok managed to grab a point at 11 Oktomvri in the dying moments. This was the end of the first half of the season in Macedonia with Vardar remaining at the top.

After a goalless first half, leaders Vardar finally broke down Bregalnica's defense in the last 25 minutes by scoring three goals. Defender Miroslav Vajs scored the first goal, midfielder Vlatko Grozdanoski was on target for the next goal, while the final score was set by Filip Petrov.

Trajkovski Assists and Scores Superb Goal in Belgian League

18 year old Aleksandar Trajkovski seems to be doing just fine in the Belgian Jupiler League, playing for Zulte Waregem.

After a clever assist to set up the first goal, Trajkovski sent a 30m torpedo to score Zulte's second goal.

Вицешампионот на Македонија со 32:19 славеше на гостувањето во Сараево и со тоа се одвои како лидер на врвот на регионалната лига.


Ракометарите на Вардар Про немаа никакви проблеми при гостувањето на тимот на Босна во Сараево. Средбата, која се играше во рамките на 13. коло од СЕХА лигата, заврши со убедлива победа на нашиот претставник од 32:19. Причина за така лесната победа над истиот противник со кој во Скопје Вардар Про ремизираше е фактот дека Босанците имаат големи финансиски проблеми, во кои западнаа во последните месец дена.

Прв стрелец кај „вардарци“ со шест погодоци беше Лазаров, следен од Марковиќ, кој додаде еден гол помалку.

Со оваа победа Вардар се одвои од Загреб на првото место на табелата со 29 бодови. Загреб има 26, а третиот Металург 24 бодови. Сепак, мора да се истакне дека овие две екипи одиграа 10 натпревари до сега во СЕХА лигата, три помалку од актуелниот лидер.

Младиот македонски суперталент Ненад Димитријевиќ ги импресионираше челниците на шпанскиот тим Хувентуд што резултираше со етиригодишен договор.

Со своите настапи на кошаркарски турнир и одличните партии, македонскиот талент Ненад Димитријевиќ ги импресионираше челниците на Хувентуд што резултираше со четиригодишен договор.

Димитријевиќ, кој има 13 години, имаше фантастични настапи на кошаркарски турнир за играчи до 14 години, а играше против големите Реал Мадрид и Барселона и на секој меч имаше двоцифрен број на поени. Тој во Шпанија на покана на Хувентуд да биде дел од нивната младинска школа, а со неговите игри покажа дека е меѓу топ 20 кошаркарски таленти во светот во својата генерација.

Младиот Димитријевиќ на Хувентуд ќе му се приклучи од септември следната година, а тој е првиот македонски талент кој на оваа возраст прави класичен трансфер надвор од Македонија.

The defensive midfielder from Guinea-Bissau is one of the many transfer targets for the table leaders Vardar during the winter transfer window.

According to the newspaper Dnevnik, the 29-year-old Ednilson Pedro Rocha Andrade Mendes has been offered to Vardar. He left his prior club, Dinamo Tbilisi, earlier this year in July and has been without a club since that time. His playing shape is unknown since he has been without a club for several months but the Macedonian league is known for its slow tempo so he shouldn't need much time to adjust.

Ednilson has made three caps for the Guinea-Bissau national team, one being in a qualifier during the 2012 African Cup of Nations which his side lost 1:0 against Angola, while the other two appearances came in friendlies. Although he was born in Guinea-Bissau, Ednilson first played for the Portugal U21 national team and it's interesting that he faced Macedonia U21 twice and even scored a goal in a 2004 qualifier when Macedonia and Portugal were in the same group. Ednilson featured in both games as Portugal won 1:0 at home and then defeated Macedonia 4:1 in Skopje with Ednilson scoring the second goal for his team. In addition, he was also the captain of Portugal during that game since the side was missing the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Hugo Viana, Bruno Alves, Ricardo Costa, Ricardo Quaresma and Thiago. Despite playing in the qualifiers, he didn't make the squad for the EURO U21 championships but he did play in the prior tournament which occurred in 2002.

In his career, Ednilson has played for nine clubs. He started his club career with the youth teams of Boavista before joining Roma's Primavera team. Then, he moved back to Portugal where he played for Benfica, Vitória Guimarães and Gil Vicente. His other clubs include OFI Crete of Greece, Serbian club Partizan, AEK Larnaca in Cyprus, and Dinamo Tbilisi from Georgia was his last destination.
