FIFA Rank: Macedonian Football Caught in Quicksand... 103

Although people seem to be unaware, Macedonia does have a national football team which is in the midst of its biggest decline ever.
The latest FIFA ranking placed the red and yellow lions (cats?) at 103, far below Qatar, but better than the tiny island of Bermuda. Watch it Bermuda, we are coming!
The atmosphere in the national team can be best described as disastrous. Majority of the blame can certainly be pointed to the Football Federation who now doesn't even pay the players if they win (is this why they haven't won?)
The new payment system is: If you qualify, we'll give you lots of money.
Knowing who they are dealing with (FFM), and getting no money for the time they 'waste' by traveling and risking an injury playing for Macedonia, majority of the good players fake injuries and are simply not showing up.
Everyone saw the debacle with Albania (rank 75) (0-0), when Pandev, Trickovski... were too 'hurt' to play for the national team, but played for their clubs the following day.
The players should not be blamed. Why would anyone risk an injury playing for a national team and lose out on millions playing for their club. No club covers/pays players for injuries sustained while playing for a national team. The FFM used to pay each player 3,000 euros/win in the Katanec era.
3,000 is a nice chunk. I for one would put the effort for a win. Putting the effort for 0 euros match after match... well the 103rd place in the rankings is the result of that new policy.
Meanwhile John Toshack found a common language with the rest of the qualifying group for Brazil 2014. Below are the matches Macedonia plays starting with Croatia, next year.
