[h=1]Friend of Deceased Briton: Jeffry's Hands Were Shaking, Refused to Go to the Doctor![/h]

Colin Jeffry, a British businessman who several years ago was the key person at the Council of Foreign Investors in Macedonia, is the UK citizen who died in Skopje with symptoms of Ebola, Telegraf.mk reports exclusively.
The information was confirmed by Michael English, Jeffry's friend, who at this moment is placed under quarantine at the "Super 8" Hotel in the Mavrovka Trade Center complex.
In a telephone interview for Telegraf.mk, English said that he and Jeffry came together in Macedonia with the intention of finding investors for fish farm projects near Ohrid. They were friends for many years.
He complained for two days
"For two days he was saying he didn't feel good. He had fever but refused to go to the doctor. That morning he said he felt better. We agreed to meet downstairs at the hotel at noon. He called and said he didn't feel good, his hands were shaking. He was confused. The hotel staff then called for an ambulance," English told Telegraf.mk.
He said that Jeffry lived in Cambridge, had a wife and three children. The family is informed about the tragic event. English says that it is "crazy" to think he was infected with Ebola because his friend visited Africa six years ago. But, the allegations that his friend was an alcoholic were untrue.
"He drank alcohol but not more than others", he added.
No medical check up performed
English says that 27 people in total are put in quarantine. There are British nationals, Dutch, Albanians, Germans, Turks. According to the British businessman, they have not been examined by a doctor.
They were told they could stay inside the hotel for two days, until the result from the sample analysis was completed, which would determine whether it was an Ebola case or not.
"We are frustrated. We can't leave! I was supposed to travel this morning to Great Britain, I was packed and ready to go," English says in the interview. He explained there was no panic among the guests.
"We are connected online all the time, talking to our families and friends. We have a huge support from the British Embassy. Macedonia is a friendly country," the Briton adds.
He says that Jeffry worked as a councilor for the Macedonian government.
"We both worked for "Johnson Matthey". Jeffry retired a couple years ago," English told Telegraf.mk.
The message of the British businessman placed into quarantine is: We want to go out sooner and be informed about what is going on.
