Hiking on the old mountain pass to the montenegrin border (1800m). Near Kuqishtë the old road is blocked for vehicles, so the winding "street" and the high valley behind are lonesome and almost untouched since more than 10 years. Unbelievable that this was the former main border crossing road to Montenegro.
Kosova - Prizren - Muzeu Arkeologjik & Sahat Kulla
Archeological Museum - It contains valuable exhibits from illyrian graves, roman houses and the old turkish fortress (Kalaya). Graves and artifacts of Illyrian Dardans were found in Prizren's vincity, which shows that the area of Prizren has been inhabited since ancient times. The museum is placed in the Clock Tower and galleries of the Tukish Bath of Ahmet Shemsedin Bey. The clock tower (Sahat Kulla) of Islamic towns showed the believers the prayer times. Every market town in the Ottoman Empire needed a clock tower so the faithful knew when to pray and shops could all close and reopen at the same time so that no trader got any advantage from staying open longer. The Clock Tower was built at 1870 in the middle of that Turkish bath (Hamam).
