torres 2tore hate gute aktionen hat für entlastung gesorgt gut gedribbelt aber auch verdribbelt gerrard an 2toren beteiligt eins gemacht das andere aus distanz geschossen abpraller torres hat den verwertet

alles im allen liverpool nicht so souverän aber egal 1runde weiter

Rafael Benitez today warned his Liverpool players to expect a stern test of their European credentials after the Reds were paired with Benfica in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.



The Portuguese outfit are currently three points clear at the top of their league and will host Liverpool in the first leg of the last eight clash on April 1, with the return at Anfield the following week..
Having eliminated the Reds from the Champions League in 2006, Benitez knows all about the quality of Benfica and is expecting another tough contest this time around.
"We know they are a good team and of course we have played them before in the Champions League," he told Liverpoolfc.tv. "They are a massive club with a lot of support from their fans and it will be a tough game.
"They are top of the table and playing really well at the moment. I know a number of their players well - Aimar, Saviola, Garcia - so we know they have a lot of quality.
"It's always important that the second leg is at home in front of our fans. We know we have to perform away and then play well at home. We have the confidence to do that and are looking forward to the games.
"Because we have played Benfica before they will know Anfield and so may not be as scared as other teams, but we have to do things properly and try to go through."
The Reds will face either Rafa's former club Valencia or Fernando Torres' former club Atletico Madrid if they progress to the semis - but for now the boss isn't looking that far ahead.
"You know my idea is always to take one game at a time," he added. "We are only thinking about Benfica at the moment. They are on a good run so it will be difficult."
 
Sammy Lee is hoping Alberto Aquilani will be available for selection in Sunday’s showdown with Manchester United at Old Trafford after the Italian returned to training on Friday.

The Reds No.4 missed Thursday's Europa League victory over Lille with a virus, and Liverpool will give him every chance to prove his fitness for Sunday.
"Alberto did some light training for us today so hopefully he will be ready for the weekend," Lee told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"We don't know at this moment in time if he will be available but we have still got 72 hours to the match so hopefully he will be ready for us."

und Rooney hat es allen gezeigt, warum sollte er ausgerechnet gegen den schwächsten FC Liverpool seit 4 oder 5 Jahren das nicht schaffen?

meine Güte, Siege posten aber nichts von NIederlagen wissen wollen, habt ihr nicht auch schon oft heftige Klatschen von ManU in den letzten Jahren bekommen? Manchester wird Liverpool schlagen, zuhause im Old Trafford gibt es keine Diskussion dieses mal darüber

Und wo zum Teufel hat MIlan bitte sich vor ManU zu verstecken? Sie haben das erste mal überhaupt in einem Ko Vergleich jetzt den kürzeren gezogen gegen Manchester.

du bist einfach nur dumm, wirklich, ein richtig dummer Troll, Fiorentina im letzten Jahr hat 2:0 gewonnen gegen Liverpool. Und in der LIga hat Liverpool auch so schon oft genug verloren, vor kurzem hat Liverpool doch gegen ein absoluten No Name verloren in der Liga, also stell sie nicht als bestes Team der Welt da, sie sind es im Momment einfach nicht.


Und toll Ballack der ist ja so weltklasse :rolleyes:

Carrick und co sind ganz sicher ein anderes Kaliber als Ballack, anscheinend hast du keine Ahnung. Mascherano ist ein Typ SPieler den ich sehr schätze, aber dennoch übertreibst du.

Vidic ist einer der besten Verteidiger der Welt. Und Rooney der beste MS der Welt, dazu haben sie Klassespieler wie Nani, Berbatov, Carrick, Ferdinand, van der Sar, Evra usw. Da kann Liverpool nicht mithalten im Momment, Steven Gerrard ist aus der Form und Torres allein wird Liverpool nicht retten dieses Jahr, Manchester City oder Tottenham werden am Ende auf den 4. Platz sein, die haben es ganz klar mehr verdient als Liverpool dieses Jahr.


Allein du machst dich darüber lustig, dass Vidic rot sieht, wie oft hat Mascherano denn schon rot gesehen? Glaube der war öfter mal duschen
