Iran: Turkish Airlines Transporting ISIS Terrorists
The Fars News Agency of Iran has claimed that Turkish Airlines, part owned by the government, flew 91 Tajik militants who were to join the terrorist group the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) to Iraq.
In exclusive news of the Fars News Agency, known to be close to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, it was stated that Tajik militants were on the THY254 flight on the 2 July
which set off to its destination Istanbul at 02:10 from the Tajikistani capital Dushanbe. Upon landing, the would-be ISIS terrorists were transferred to Iraq.
Although the Fars News Agency, one of Iran’s most important media outlets, did not state its source on its Persian language site, in news in
English based on “a source who does not wish to give their name for their own safety” it was written that up to today, Turkish Airlines has carried around one thousand Tajik militants to wage war in Iraq.
Weapons transfer to Nigeria via Turkish Airlines
The following voice recording had been leaked to the internet regarding an alleged conversation between Mustafa Varank, the chief advisor to Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdoğan,
and Turkish Airlines (THY) Executive Assistant Mehmet Karakaş on the issue of weapons deliveries to Nigeria by THY planes in 19 March 2014.
