Man wird wohl wissen, dass Atatürk die Stadt im Jahre 1930 offiziell in Istanbul umbenannt hat. Hast du keine Ahnung oder willst du es nicht wahr haben?

Der Name ist von Islambol abgeleitet,das du als möchtegern Hellene das nicht war haben willst ist verständlich

Es ist schon traurig wenn man Fakten leugnen will, du scheinst große Komplexe gegenüber alles Griechische zu haben.
Du musst damit leben, dass Istanbul vom griechischen kommt und zwar von "Is stin Poli". Mir ist das ganze(und eigtl auch die Stadt) relativ egal.
