[TD] "Frankly speaking, three days ago I personally delivered the letter from the Ministry of National Defence of Turkey to the Ukrainian Minister of Defence [Stepan Poltorak], in which it stated Turkey is willing to consider the supply of necessary equipment, although it did not specify the exact type. The military delegation of Turkey is expected to arrive in Ukraine soon," Mustafa Dzhemilev said.
Dzhemilev said that Turkey is not obliged to agree with NATO in order to supply weapons made in Turkey.
"The Alliance should approve the supply of weapon, which is located within the NATO states. Although, when it comes to the weapon that is made directly by Turkey, it is the country's personal decision whether to supply weapons or not," said the MP.
Recently the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin called for negotiations on de-occupation of Crimea in the Geneva Plus format with the participation of Turkey and international organizations. On February 13, during the meeting of the Normandy Quartet, Ukraine's Foreign Affairs Minister is expected to raise the issue of de-occupation of Crimea.
On February 4, the European Parliament adopted another resolution on Crimea. It urged Russia to start a dialogue with Ukraine and praised the steps of the Ukrainian side prior to the talks. In the document, the European Parliament calls on the Council to keep the sanctions against Russia until the end of the occupation of Crimea and its return to Ukraine.[/TD]
