Das Forum braucht mal wieder was wahrheitsgetreues und erfrischendes also dachte ich mir, welche Forumsbalkaner sind am sensibelsten wenn es um Geschichte geht?
Genau, unsere Griechen.

Ein Ausschnitt: Byzantinologue, A. A. Vasiliev would remark that “In the first half of the fourteenth century, the Albanians for the first time began to play a considerable partin the history of the Balkan peninsula… p. 613 At this time a strong movement of the Albanians toward the south began, at first into Thessaly, but extended later,in the second half of the fourteenth and in the fifteenth century, all over middle Greece, the Peloponnesus, and many islands of th Agean Sea. This powerful stream of Albanian colonization is felt even today. A German scholar in nineteenthcentury, Fallmerayer…journied through Greece and found in Attica, Boeotia, and the major part of the Peloponnesus a very great number of Albanian settlers, who sometimes did not even understand Greek. If one calls this country a new Albania, wrote the same author, one gives it its real name. (pp. 613-615, History of theByzantine Empire, 1964

Ein Ausschnitt: Most historians agree that the Arvanites first settled central and southern Greece in the thirteenth century. A succession of migrations into Greece continued until the early nineteenth century. The Arvanites are thought to have originated from parts of present day Albania. Their identity has been linked to their Arvanitic (Arvanitika) or Tosk Albanian language and their practice of Greek Orthodox Christianity.
Seite 6: 1879 Greek census found that in the Peloponnese, Central Greece, Euboea and the island of Andros there were nearly 225.000 Albanian/Arvanitic speakers. This number did not include Hydra and Spetses, which were traditionally Arvanitic speaking. The entire population of Greece at the time was about 1.6 million people. Today, the Arvanitic language has survived in several towns of the Argolis. Anastasia Karakasidou’s study on Slavic speaking groups in northern Greece found that many Slavic groups felt pressure to change their last names into Greek sounding names (Karakaksidou 1997). Today many Arvanite’s bear Greek and Albanian derived last names. Some last names that are believed to be Albanian in origin include: Πλκας, Λιπης, Κλιας, Λικος, Βιρς, Μανεσσς. None of the locals remember having to change their names. At the same time, in some Arvanitic speaking villages the nick- name (παρατσοκλι) of older generations are Albanian in origin. Some examples in- clude: Κκκας, Μποτος, Σκυρτεση, and Διλλιλς.

Ein Ausschnitt:
"In Greece proper, the Albanians occupied large areas abandoned by the rural population, and became the only inhabitants of some of the most famous sites. They cultivated the fields of Marathon and Plataea, and pastured their flocks on Helicon and Parnassus. The whole of Boeotia, Attica, Megaris, Corinthia, and Argolis, a great portion of Laconia and Messenia, Arcadia, Elis, and Acarnania were so colonised. Indeed, the Albanians appear to have done for Greece in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries something like that which the Sclavonians had done in the sixth and seventh."

Moral der Geschichte
Ein Ausschnitt: And all because the Federal State solution was rejected. And instead, the solution of the "homogeneous" National State was preferred. For the great powers of the time, it was more convenient to control a small state than ten tiny states. And over the years and telling it, we finally convinced that we are all pure Greeks. And they made us not dare to distinguish our nationality from our religion. Thus, anyone who is baptized a Christian orthodox, along with the "divine grace" gets inside the pool and his "charisma" feels like a Greek, and he has no idea what it means to be a Greek. With these and with many other mistakes, good Greeks are now considered good Christians. Time to stop this bloody scam. Writer: V. Rafailidis
