Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday that he will demand a discussion of what he said are fundamental issues when the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue continues in Brussels on September 7.

“I will demand the implementation of the 2013 agreement signed under the auspices of the European Union on the forming of the Community of Serb Municipalities so we can see concrete steps and not just paper,” Vucic told a news conference.

He said that Serbia will not quit the EU-mediated dialogue to normalize relations between Belgrade and Pristina. “We want a true dialogue, not just them saying that we have to recognize them… I told (US State Department official Matthew) Palmer and (President Trump’s special envoy Ambassador Richard) Grenell that in front of (Kosovo President Hashim) Thaci, I told everyone. I understand them, that is the policy of their countries… But some people are obviously not interested in discussing railway and air lines,” Vucic said.

Waffenlieferung aus der BRD an die kosovarischen Sicherheitskräfte könnten die serbische Seite unter Druck setzen aus meiner Sicht. Es wäre aus meiner Sicht ein gutes Signal für Sicherheit und Stabilität der ganzen Balkan-Region. Nur ein stabiles Kosovo kann die Stabilität erhöhen.

Waffenlieferung aus der BRD an die kosovarischen Sicherheitskräfte könnten die serbische Seite unter Druck setzen aus meiner Sicht. Es wäre aus meiner Sicht ein gutes Signal für Sicherheit und Stabilität der ganzen Balkan-Region. Nur ein stabiles Kosovo kann die Stabilität erhöhen.

Ich hoffe, dass aktuell niemand die militärische Stärke der beiden Parteien bei der Diskussion berücksichtigt.

Es geht um Symbolik. Serbien braucht ein starkes Signal aus Deutschland, dass es so nicht weitergehen kann.

Wenn Albanien, Mazedonier und Montenegro vor Serbien in die EU kommen sollten, wird die Tür für Serbien sehr schmal werden. Von wegen die Zeit spielt für Serbien Das hat sue bisher auch nicht.

Dann halt keine EU. Sich nicht an unterschriebene Verträge zu halten bleibt trotzdem falsch.

Es ist sicherlich gut das man verhandelt. Zumindest als Signal an die Weltgemeinschaft. Serbien spielt im Moment den kompromissbereiteren was uns besser da stehen lässt.
Strategisch sollte jedoch klar sein, dass Serbien keine Art der Unabhängigkeit akzeptieren wird und nur eine Reintegration in Frage kommt

So wird es sein. Die Jugend Serbiens wird dann aber rebellieren, da bin ich mir sicher.
