Infrastruktur-Projekte in Mazedonien

The roads will be repaired in the northeastern and Polog region

Local roads in the Northeast and Pollog region of the country will be repaired. Construction work will be carried out by the company “Beton” from Skopje and the financial structure will be MKD 256 702 906, or more than EUR 4.1 million.






According to data published on the web site of the Macedonian Stock Exchange, the National Roads Agency signed two contracts for the reconstruction of the existing road infrastructure. The first contract provided rehabilitation and improvement of regional roads in the northeastern region of Macedonia, which is part of the third phase of LOT 1. The total value of this contract is MKD123 599 864, or about EUR 2 million.


Despite this agreement, few days ago data of local Polog region roads reconstruction were published, included in the third phase of LOT 2. The budget of the Agency for State Roads for this purpose will allocate MKD 133,103,042, or more than EUR2.1 million.
 
Construction work on several roads


From 7 October began the construction of roads Veles – Kadrifakovo phase 1: from the intersection Veles end of the third lane (dump Veles) Lozovo, Saramzalino.

There will be asphalt construction and road works on the road Furka – Dojran R-1 105, PE “Makedonija pat” – Veles subsidiary, starting from 02.10.2013 for a period of 10 to 15 days. The traffic goes in one lane and it is regulated by the appropriate road signs.
On 09/25/2013 there will be a temporary change of traffic during the road work on road A – 1, section Miladinovci -Kumanovo (in both directions), i.e. the direction of the intersection Kriva Palanka to the interchange Kumanovo, by setting the appropriate vertical signaling.
AMSM recommends careful driving, adjusted speed and respecting the traffic signs. Special attention is needed on sections passing through ravines and notches, especially on the roads Katlanovo – Veles, Mavrovo -Debar – Struga, Demir Kapija – Udovo, Kocani- Delcevo and Berovo- Vinica, where there is possible occurrence of landslides .
The traffic on all other state roads throughout the country is going smoothly, on dry roads.
The intensity of traffic on the roads outside of urban areas is moderate.
The borders do not have longer retention on entry and exit of the country.

 
Construction workers are required to build the highway Demir Kapija-Smokvica


The construction company Aktor, which is the contractor for building the section of highway Demir Kapija – Smokvica through the advertisement is looking to hire 259 construction workers, including civil engineers, crane operators and other construction workers writes Vecher.

Currently on the project in Macedonia are hired 330 workers, but to complete its planned project activities and tasks in the following period, which include the construction of several bridges, overpasses and road facilities, the company needs additional manpower. Workers should have a long work experience on projects and setting of high performance structures up to 100 meters, working experience at height, with large steel and concrete structures, transport and spatial manipulation of the overall structures and their appropriate setting.
- Employees should have experience on working on projects for setting bridges with Gerberov beam or cantilever beams, arched bridges, bridges with prestressed beams, casted bridges and shaped bridges with concrete, false work bridges with height up to 95 meters. Work activities will take place at high altitudes so that employees need to be in good / excellent psychological condition, have no fear of heights and to be willing to work in windy environments – part of the announcements requirements.
Depending on the position of the employees should be ready to work in shifts, and depending on the pace of the activities that need to be summarized, to be willing to work several overtime hours on working days and on weekends. In addition, the call is referring to the employees who do not have experience and are interested in working on the project, to apply for this call and selected candidates will receive appropriate training for occupational safety.
The project for building highway Corridor 10, section Demir Kapija – Smokvica is project that includes construction of a new modern highway section length in a length of 28,18 kilometers in accordance with European standards, thus completing the main axis of Corridor 10 that is passing through Macedonia. Due to the complexity of the terrain where the construction work is performed, the project is rated as very complex.

 
A new kindergarten for 80 children in a Nova Kolonija

From sixty to eighty children will be cared in the new kindergarten “Morkovche” in Nova Kolonija Idrizovo.

The children’s songs and choreography, the children marked the start of the new kindergarten, which will provide accommodation for three categories of children: babies, small and large group.
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, who attended the opening of the kindergarten, said that new generations mean new future.
- The benefits of opening new kindergartens are multiple and open capacity for accommodate children close to their homes, it is in their favour and their parents, said the Prime Minister.
He said that in the past 50 years it is twice reduced the number of infants and the government pursue policies that aim to encourage parents to have more children and to extend the families.
The Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Dime Spasov, said the new facility demonstrates the continued commitment of the Government and that in future children and their care will be the biggest motive and purpose of the Government.
- By the end of the year will be open four new kindergartens, and reconstructed and adapted in 15 more, said Spasov.
The mayors ofSkopjeand Gazi Baba, Koce Trajanovski and Toni Trajkovski attended the opening.

 
The construction of regional road Opae -Beljanovce-Stanchikj starts

MEPSO invests million in switch-yard in Petrovec

The new junction 110 kW plant that MEPSO builds in Petrovec municipality will create preconditions for quality electrification of multinational business zone “Kjojlija” which should be a generator of economic growth of the municipality.


This concluded Sinisa Spassov, General Director of JSC MEPSO and Borce Mitevski, Mayor of Petrovec Municipality during today’s visit to the plant. MEPSO invested more than EUR 1 million in the 110 kW switch-yard and it needs to be done by the end of this year.
- MEPSO invests over EUR 1 million in the 110 kW switch-yard in Petrovec, in order to connect existing substation to the transmission network. This creates conditions for stable and quality supply of electricity to the municipality and creates conditions for reliable operation of the power system, said Spasov.
Mayor Mitevski stressed that the investment in energy infrastructure will significantly improve conditions for economic development of the municipality Petrovec.
- The business zone “Kjojlija” is our trump card for job creation and economic growth of our community. This investment will create preconditions for quality supply of electricity to the business zone “Kjojlija”. This will provide conditions for all potential investors in the zone, emphasized Mitevski.
Multifunctional business zone “Kjojlija” will be built on 196 acres. It is designed for large commercial buildings, hotels, and non-polluting light industry, education facilities, gas station and facilities for health care.

 
Construction activities on the road from the village Deljadrovci to the Village Agino


Field activities (surveying and geomechanical investigations) that run along the road A – 1, section Miladinovci – Kumanovo (in both directions), the toll station Miladinovci to the end of the old Highway interchange Kriva Palanka, from 11/04/2013 to 08/11/2013 will operate from the petrol station Makpetrol in the village Deljadrovci to the village Agino.

The work is performed from 06:00 am to 07:00 pm, and the temporary traffic signal is set for 24 hours.

PET Center – new chapter in the Macedonian Health


It was opened the new chapter in medical diagnostics in Macedonia. It was started the construction of the facility for positron emission tomography.

We will be first in the region with this method, and benefit from PET center will have all Macedonian citizens and patients in the region.
The Prime Minister, Nikola Gruevski stated that this event very important for Macedonian health.
- This is a project worth 12 million euro, which is 12 percent of the major project of the Government to invest 100 million euro in the Macedonian health. PET center is the highest point in the science for early detection of diseases, their diagnosis and treatment. In the PET Center will be installed modern equipment that is rare in the Balkans and South East Europe, pointed the Prime Minister.
The Minister of Health, Nikola Todorov said that it is expected in August 2015 to start with work.
- Feasibility of the project will be seen immediately. Such a treatment abroad for a Macedonian citizen will cost 1000 euro. In modern health care facility, the same treatment will be done for less money ​​in Macedonia, said Todorov.

This method is ranked as the most efficient diagnosis as an important prerequisite for successful and shorter treatment of malignant diseases, as well as effective monitoring of post therapeutic treatments and early diagnosis of possible relapse of malignant diseases.
Equipping PET Center takes place in three stages. Cyclotron and a one PET – CT camera are already ordered and are expected to be delivered in the second half of next year.

Macedonia will become a regional center for the export of isotopes. After hiring of experts from Macedonia, PET Centre will train doctors from the region.

 
Gruevski: TIDZ Tetovo is opportunity for new investments and jobs


The construction of infrastructure of the Technological Industrial Development Zone (TIDZ) Tetovo gives an opportunity for opening many factories and new jobs for the citizens of Tetovo, Gostivar and the region, said the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski at the cornerstone laying ceremony of this economic zone which is under the concession of the Norwegian company NORMAC.

Tetovo zone is part of the large government’s project for opening economic zones in all larger cities in the country. So far, ‘Skopje 1,’ ‘Skopje 2’ and ‘Stip’ industrial development zones have been opened and construction works are being conducted in Kicevo, Gevgelija, Prilep and Strumica, said Gruevski.
He added that the zone near Tetovo was established in 2010 by government’s decision and its construction was delayed due to unsolved property and legal issues and because of realization of type of investment according to the principle Public Private Partnership for the first time in economic zones in Macedonia. This means that company concessionaire will build interior infrastructure while the Macedonian side is in charge of exterior infrastructure, construction of road from Skopje – Tetovo highway to the zone.
The construction of adequate infrastructure will attract foreign investors especially because of its closeness to borders with Kosovo, Albania and Serbia and two universities in Tetovo which are seen as a good opportunity for highly qualified and well-educated personnel, said Gruevski .

Director of Directorate of TIDZ, Viktor Mizo said that the entire investment amounts €7 million which will be realized in three phases for a period of five years and will contribute to regional economic development, opening new jobs and use of new technologies thus improving competitiveness of our economy.

Erik Welle-Watne, manager of Innovation Norway, part of NORMAC company said that the zone near Tetovo is considered as very important location for development of business promising that their company will make all necessary efforts to attract investors.
The Minister of Economy, Valjon Saraqini said that the realization of this capital project guarantees economic prosperity and development for all citizens.



Gruevski: Many factories will be open at the TIDZ Tetovo

Аt today’s ceremony was laid the foundation stone of Technology – Industrial Development Zone – Tetovo. In the presence of representatives of the business community, representatives of the diplomatic corps, local governments, together with prominent guests and the top leadership of the state was said that this is one of the capital projects of the Government, which creates conditions for structural change the economy in the region and of course for new jobs.

The Minister of Economy, Valon Saraqini said that with the start of work on the development zone are created additional opportunities for companies that are already operating in the region, which are encouraged in their competitiveness and innovation.
Representatives of the group NORMAK that will manage the TIDZ – Tetovo emphasized that this is the beginning of an investment worth around 160 million euro. The entry of new capital in the construction of TIDZ – Tetovo means work for companies and transfer of knowledge, experience and skills. The Norwegian investor NORMAK Investment Group already has experience in the development of such projects and the government will continue to be part of this successful story by providing other fundamental conditions, especially in infrastructure such as building a port for direct access from the zone to the highway Tetovo – Skopje.
The Prime Minister, Nikola Gruevski stressed that this place is planned to open many factories that should provide lot of jobs for residents of Tetovo and this region of the state He added that the TIDZ – Tetovo is part of a major project of the Government for the establishment of such zones.
Thanks to this project, so far are put into operation TIDZ – Skopje 1, TIDZ – 2 Skopje and zone in Shtip, while are ongoing construction activities of the zones in Kichevo, Gevgelija, Strumica and Prilep. Additionally it is worked on the construction zones in Radovish, Struga – Ohrid, Rankovce as well as in the area of Kochani – Vinica and Berovo – Delchevo.
The TIDZ project – Tetovo in several years is supposed to open more than 7,000 jobs. In a period of few years, it is planned to have about 30 industrial projects to deliver goods and services in the country, but also at foreign markets. Government and the Ministry of Economy in the next period will continue to follow the development of the zone in Tetovo, because it is a project, which is implemented by public – private partnership.

По повод одбележувањето на празникот 7 ноември Денот на ослободувањето на Демир Капија, беше пуштен во употреба едукативниот Тренинг центар за туризам.

Центарот е резултат на прекугранична соработка помеѓу Македонија и Грција, а проектот во чии рамки е и овој објект, чини над 300 илјади евра.
Просториите на Центарот ги отворија шефот на делегацијата на Европската Унија во Македонија Аиво Орав и Трајче Димитриев, градоначалник на Демир Капија.

- Овој Центар ќе ги зголеми економската соработка, економскиот развој и животниот стандард на жителите од овој регион, рече Орав.
Димитриев, пак, потенцира дека преку Центарот ќе се реши проблемот со недостатокот на човечки ресурси во областа на туризмот.
- Истовремено согласно заложбите на оваа Влада, ќе се овозможи создавање на еден Регионален центар во кој ќе се едуцираат и кадри од соседните држави, рече градоначалникот.


Билјана Цветановска Гугоска, државен секретар во Министерството за локална самоуправа, нагласи дека ова е пример дека програмата за прекугранична соработка дава големи можности кои општините треба максимално да ги искористат.
Партнери во проектот беа демиркаписката општина и Стопанската комора на Лерин од соседна Грција.
