Sumulikoski gave the captain's armband to the referee
SATURDAY, 08 OCTOBER 2011 16:17 FILIP ZDRAVESKI NEWS - INTERNATIONAL

Mario Gjurovski watches as Velice Sumulikoski is trying to give his captain's armband to the refereeAn interesting moment occurred during Macedonia's devastating road game against Armenia. When captain Velice Sumulikoski was shown a red card, he attempted to give his armband to the Austrian referee.

In the 53rd minute of the game, to summon the Macedonian misery in Yerevan, captain Velice Sumulikoski was sent off after he was given a second yellow card by the referee. Both yellow cards were for poor fouls. Velice was not happy with the decision and than tried on several occasions to give his captain armband to the Austrian referee Robert Schörgenhofer who obviously refused to take it and waved Sumulikoski to leave the pitch.

Sumulikoski will definitely miss the final game of the EURO 2012 qualifications against Slovakia in Skopje this upcoming Tuesday but UEFA will probably add additional discipline for his unnecessary and funny reaction towards the referee. That means he could miss the opening game/s of the qualifications for the World Cup 2014 that will begin in September of next year. If you closely watch the video, Sumulikoski spit in the direction of the referee while he was leaving the pitch and then had some extra words for the fourth referee on the sidelines.

Sedloski will get award in Prilep
TUESDAY, 11 OCTOBER 2011 15:47 ALEKSANDAR ZLATESKI NEWSFLASHES - INTERNATIONAL

Goce Sedloski was supposed to get his award from UEFA today but he asked the award to be given to him during the November friendly against Albania in Prilep.

Goce Sedloski had a change of mind and asked both UEFA and FFM to be given the award in his home city of Prilep. Macedonia will take on Albania in a friendly in November and the match will be played in Prilep. Sedloski felt that was the perfect place to get his award since he began his professional career in that city. He was born in the village of Golemo Konjari where he began his career at the local club Bratstvo. However, he made a name for himself while playing as a central defender for the highest profile club in Prilep which is FK Pobeda.

So, "Sedlo" will now get his commemorative cap and medal prior to November's friendly between Macedonia and Albania in Prilep. As a reminder, the award is due to Sedloski making 100 appearances for the Macedonian national team.
