U19: Montenegro - Macedonia 0:1
The Macedonian U19 national team celebrated a minimal 0:1 road win over Montenegro U19 with the lone goal being scored by Hristijan Denkovski.


The U19 youth national teams of Macedonia and Montenegro played a friendly match today in Cetinje, Montenegro. Macedonia celebrated a 0:1 win thanks to a goal by Hristijan Denkovski in the 57nd minute. Keep in mind that Denkovski was the player that was recently on trial with the U19 team of Dutch side Ajax.


Macedonia played the match with the following line-up: Shishkovski, Zakirovski, Georgievski, Acevski, Musliu, Nastevski, Denkovski, Nikolov, Ivanov, Karimani, Velkovski.


Also played: Djemaili, Angelevski, Ameti, Menga, Dokovski, Ristovski.


The information of the Macedonia line-up is courtesy of the Montenegrin football federation, as FFM did not publish the players called up for this friendly nor the lineup of the players who featured in the match.


The next match between these two teams is on the 14th of June, at 11.00 CET.

A SMS will cost MKD 35. After the initial 0:1 win in the first friendly, Macedonia U19 lost the second match to Montenegro 1:3.


Macedonia U19 celebrated a 0:1 win against Montenegro on Tuesday, but the hosts managed to get some revenge and win today. Montenegro outplayed Macedonia and won convincingly 3:1. Montenegro built a commanding 3:0 lead before Sashko Dukov scored only a consolation goal for Macedonia in a match played in extremely hot weather.


Macedonia U19 lineup: Aleksovski, Zakirovski, Angeleski (Nastevski), Acevski, Musliu, Ristovski (Ameti), Denkovski (Dukov), Nikolov, Ivanov (Menga), Karimani (Djemaili), Velkovski.

Russia Beats Macedonia in Olympic Qualifier Warm-Up



The Russian national basketball team beat Macedonia 80-61 in Lithuania on Thursday in its first warm-up game for next month’s Olympic qualifying tournament.
Macedonia led 35-30 at the end of the second quarter, but Russia stormed back to take the lead in the third before going 24-12 in the fourth.
Russia center Sasha Kaun finished as top scorer with 14 points.
On Saturday, Russia is to play Greece in Kaunas, Lithuania, before further warm-up games in the United States against Lithuania and Britain.
Russia failed to qualify outright for the Olympics after losing to France at the semifinal stage of EuroBasket 2011.
The Olympic qualifying tournament will see 12 teams fight for the last three Olympic places.
It will take place in Caracas, Venezuela from July 2 through 8.

Vladimir Dimitrovski looking for new club

Defender Vladimir Dimitrovski has been told by Mladá Boleslav to seek a new club after not being in the plans of the club's manager.


Vladimir Dimitrovski was one of several players from last year's squad that was not present for the start of summer preparations for Mladá Boleslav yesterday. Each player has been told to stay away and seek a new club, either via a permanent transfer or loan. The Czech side will not stand in the way of a move to another team for those players.


Dimitrovski made just 6 league appearances last season, so this decision was not surprising. Vladimir can play either left CB or left-back. He was formerly the captain of the Macedonian U21 national team, and has been capped twice by the senior national team of Macedonia.
