New investment of the Italian IT company DF Labs

In the past few days, with aim of opening of their first company outside of Italy, director of Italian company DF Labs (DF Labs), prof. Dario Forte and Coordinator for product development David Boshchiroli are visiting Macedonia.
The company is known worldwide in the IT field in the area of cyber security and forensic analysis, whose clients are renowned international companies including IBM, as well as NATO and other world-renowned companies and institutions. In Skopje arrived to register the company and start the hiring process. The number of employees is planned to reach at least 20 developers, at the moment when they will find qualified staff.
The meeting was held as a result of economic activities of the promoter Ivan Iliev in Italy, who introduced the company to the Minister Jerry Naumof, during his first visit to Italy, in October last year.
“We have invited them to come to Macedonia. After several visits over the past three months, we are proud to announce that the Italian DF Labs will establish the DF Labs International in our country. This is an excellent example of a high quality and fast growing business oriented company that can take quick decision for operation in Macedonia. This project will pay above-average wages, employ young talented graduates and create transfer of practical knowledge in the latest technology,” said Naumof.
DF Lab evaluated several other countries, such asIndia,VietnamandSerbia. They have decided forMacedoniaas has the most competitive operating costs, low level of legalism, favorable tax policy and good IT infrastructure. Also, of great importance was the fact that is well connected with the region in which they work.
“We met with the Minister Naumof in Italy and we were impressed by his knowledge of our sector and our company. Minister immediately recognized our needs and at the first meeting we had almost all answers we need. Most importantly, we received exceptional support from members of his office. We got help at any time and we never have felt alone. This should serve as an example for many countries, including our” said Dario Forte, owner and CEO of DF Labs.
During the visit there were several meetings with the representatives of the University of information sciences and technologies “Sv. Apostol Pavle” from Ohrid, and we have exchanged Memorandum of cooperation for opening the laboratory within the university, which will engage developers for research on response to incidents and data breach. We had meetings with the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at the University “St. Kiril and Methodi” inSkopje, prof. Dimitar Trajanov, where we agreed on the next steps for future co-operation.
